1966 Dodge Coronet 440 71224 Original Miles. Clear Title All Documentation on 2040-cars
Goodland, Kansas, United States
I have for sale my 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 2 door hardtop with 71,224 original miles on it. It has a 273 v8 with an automatic transmission. Motor does run but it is going to need a carb kit in it as it does leak. The only thing keeping this car from driving down the road is it needs the carb kit, needs the front brake hoses they are dry rotted and have holes in them. The other thing that is needed is the filler neck hose it has a crack in it and leaks fuel when trying to fill it up. This car was bought brand new in amarillo tx and im the 2nd owner of the car. It has the dodge certi card still on the radiator support along with the original owners manual and all that came with the car when bought new. It is an extremely solid and straight car. Trunk pan and 99 percent of all the floor pan is solid. THe only rust in the floor pan is right by the dimmer switch on the floor. The only other rust ive found is in the quarters its going to need patch panels on both quarters and the drivers side door at the front inside has a rust hole in it. This coronet is equipped with the spyder wheels as well. I also have a complete good running 440 big block and 727 auto transmission that goes with the car. On the front pad of the 440 is stamped 71440EE the pic didn't turn out to good. This car would be a great builder car and is all complete with all great glass other than the windshield. This car was bought brand new in Amarillo tx and thats where i got it from the original owner. Its lived its whole life down there until i got it. I would love to fix this car up and drive it just have way to many projects and customer cars to get done. This car wouldn't take anything hardly to get it into paint and running down the road again I do have the title and all documentation on the car like the Chrysler Corp Certi Card, the original owners manual with the dealership info and all service records and everything in it as well. I have TONS of pics and they will not all fit on here so if you would like more pics please contact me. If you have any questions or would like more pics please feel free to contact me at 620-521-1447 Thanks Nate.

2003-04 Dodge Viper recalled for sudden airbag deployment
Fri, 15 Feb 2013As if driving the old Dodge Viper (not the fancy new SRT model) isn't intimidating enough, imagine trying to wrangle that V10 beast and then suddenly having the airbags deploy. Yikes. That's apparently what could happen to some 3,660 Viper models from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and as such, Chrysler has issued a recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the car's airbag control module may fail, causing the bags or seatbelt pre-tensioners to deploy without warning while the vehicle is in operation. That's a dangerous scenario in any car, let alone one offering insane horsepower a near-total paucity of safety nannies should things get squirrely.
Owners will be notified this month about the recall, though a remedy is not expected to be available until later this year. Scroll down for the full NHTSA statement.
How to turn a Dodge airport tug into a trail slayer
Sun, 16 Nov 2014Sometimes, having a ton of fun requires takes a ton of work. Just nine days before the so-called Ultimate Adventure 2014, the folks behind 4-Wheel & Off-Road had 40 tasks to complete in order to turn the ratty truck pictured above into a machine that could excel on treacherous off-road trails while still being able to handle highway jaunts. Much of process behind the build was chronicled on the latest episode of Dirt Every Day.
The team's vehicle started life as a 1990 Dodge tug truck that spent part of its life hauling around airplanes. The builders hung on to the Cummins six-cylinder diesel, but they tossed out practically everything else for the project, with some seriously heavy-duty replacement parts for the transmission, transfer case, axles and a whole lot more. The process was certainly a ton of work, but the end result looks like a fantastic crawler.
Sure, it might have been easier to bring a truck that was already prepared, but where would the fun in that have been? Stay tuned until the end of the video for a few glimpses of the completed Dodge and peek at some of the punishment it goes through.
