1970 Dodge Charger R/T. Car has been fitted with a 1969 front end to build a General Lee. I bought this car as is for a project build but unforeseen circumstances are forcing me to sell. I have not touched the car since bringing it home several months ago. Previous owner had taken most of the car apart and had started reassembling it.. Car has no motor or trans. Body looks to be pretty solid. 1 door is from a 68 model. Has had new rear qtrs. installed. front fender parking lights have been filled in. There is some body filler in places such as top of passenger front fender, front marker light holes, maybe in rockers?, around rear window at bottom where new metal was installed, and front valance has been skim coated. Rear valance is no good. Has new trunk pan and new front floor pans. New fuel tank, and rear brake lines. Has 8 and 3/4 inch rear but not sure what rear end. all body trim is present. Has new front and rear bumpers, Legendary seat covers installed, new headliner installed but is loose and needs to be reinstalled, new door panels and rear side panels, new package tray. All interior plastic and dash has been sprayed light cream. New carpet installed. Gauges have been refaced including tic toc tac. so many parts cant list them all. Hood hinges powder coated, some new harness's and new various parts. Previous owner said he had over 5000 in new parts. I cant voach for that but know he did spend a good bit. The car was painted when he got it. It looks good at 20 feet and would do for a driver but definitely needs redone to be nice. Grill is nice and headlights have all vacumn components. Wheels are not General Lee correct. They are 15 spoke rockets and not the 10 spoke vectors. Tires are junk just for moving. No Fender tag. Radiator is out of 66 0r 67 charger. All over all pretty good solid old car. Make a great restoration or good driver. Lot of car for the starting price. Need to sell badly. 500 dollar non refundable deposit required within 48 hrs via paypal. No Pay Pal for balance due. Please email with any questions. Car is for sale locally so auction may end without notice. I will entertain buy now offers.

How to update and secure a vulnerable Chrysler Uconnect system
Sat, Jul 25 2015If you own one of the 1.4 million vehicles affected by the recent Chrysler software recall, you may want to watch this video. In it, we explain how to get the latest infotainment software loaded onto the 8.4-inch Uconnect system. The recall was a response to the findings of researchers who were able to hack into and remotely control a 2014 Jeep Cherokee through its cellular connection. Although Fiat Chrysler has worked with Sprint to plug most of the holes on the carrier side, there are still some vulnerabilities that only this latest software version can patch. Owners have three options to get the update: download it now, wait for a USB stick in the mail, or take the vehicle to an FCA dealer. Chrysler will be sending USB sticks loaded with the software update to customers. Anyone with an internet connection and a USB stick of their own with at least 4 GB capacity can speed things up by downloading the patch from the Uconnect website. We cover that process from start to finish in the video, with the final portion still applicable to those using the FCA-supplied USB stick. If after watching this you still don't want to tackle the patch yourself, you can take your vehicle to the dealer to have it done. Also note that this process is the same for all Uconnect updates, not just the one patching the exploits. Our demonstrator vehicle is a 2015 Ram 1500 pickup. The procedure should be very similar on other products with the 8.4-inch Uconnect system, with only the location of the USB port varying. Once you have the USB stick with the software on it – either after having downloaded it yourself or receiving it in the mail from Chrysler – the installation process is relatively simple. It takes about 15 minutes to perform the update; we edited out the wait in the video. To check whether or not your car's 8.4-inch Uconnect system is running the latest software, go to System Information on the touch screen's Settings page and look at Software Version. The update related to the recall is version 15.17.5. Related Video: Recalls Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Safety Technology Infotainment Videos Original Video hacking
2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.
Dodge Hellcats getting price hike
Fri, Aug 21 2015Dodge plans twice as many Hellcats on the road for the 2016 model year, they are going to be a bit more expensive when buyers sign on the dotted line. According to CarsDirect and confirmed to Autoblog by Dodge, 2016 Challenger SRT Hellcat costs $65,190, an increase of $4,200 over 2015. That figure includes $995 for destination and $1,700 for the Gas Guzzler charge. The latest Charger SRT Hellcat retails for $68,640, a $3,650 increase. Other SRT trims of the muscle cars also see a price hike. The 2016 Challenger SRT 392 is $51,190, after destination and a $1,000 guzzler charger – a $3,500 increase. The Charger SRT 392 also jumps $3,000, to $51,990. Even at 2015's prices, Dodge was having problems keeping up with demand for the Hellcat, and the higher price isn't likely to change that. And before you think the company is going plum crazy, the 2016 models of all four muscle cars come standard with Laguna leather seats and navigation. According to company spokesperson Dan Reid to Autoblog, both items had a "very high customer take rate," and the previously optional features are valued at $2,490. Dodge previously announced a discount for those who had a sold 2015 Hellcat order canceled in the switch to 2016. Those amount to $5,000 on the Challenger and $4,000 Charger, which seems like a sweet deal for those customers. Related Video:
