Up or sale here is a special classic muscle car!
A 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 4spd!
This car has been storage in a barn in Tennessee for almost the last 25 years!

Yes, it does need a bit of work...but these cars are getting harder and harder to find
in restorable condition.  Restored this is a high dollar rare car! This is a project car.

This Charger is a true R/T, not a clone!  It came from the factory with the big block
440 and a 4spd.  You don't see too many original 4spd Chargers.

The overall frame of the car is very solid.  Doors overall are in great shape.  Door jambs are in great shape.
The car will need new complete floors, trunk floors and rear partial frame rails.
The trim and windows are all in great shape.

The car does retain the correct Dana60 rear end and the matching numbers
4spd transmission.  The data tag matches the dash tag which matches the radiator support.
The engine in the car is not the factory correct engine. The car does not run.  The buyer will
need to have the car trailered and a winch will be needed.
I do not have keys for the car and the trunk currently is locked.

The Charger was originally red from the factory with a black vinyl top and black interior.
The car looks redish orange currently.  I think that is due to years of sitting.  I don't think
the car has ever been repainted.

The data plate has the following codes (to the best I could make them out):

V1X V8X 26 END
A33 C16 C55 M21 M31 R11
R4R4 C6X XS A07 075599
E86 D21 XS29 L9G 140337

If you have any questions, please ask before making an offer or clicking the Buy It Now.
If you need additional pictures, I will do my best to get them for you.  If you make an offer,
plan to purchase the car if your offer is accepted.  It is simple,
treat people the way you would like to be treated.  No games.
If you have zero feedback on eBay please contact me before clicking the Buy It Now
or making an offer.  If you are outside the United States, please contact me before
making an offer or clicking the Buy It Now.
By making an offer and if it is accepted,
that then doesn't give you the right to come tire kick and decide if you want the car.  Come
see it before making an offer if you need to see it.  A deposit of $500 by Paypal is
required within 48 hours of clicking the Buy It Now or having your offer accepted.  The deposit
is non refundable.  Balance by certified check, bank wire or cash in person at pick up.
If you pay by certified check and my bank puts a hold on the check the car will not be released
till funds have cleared.

The Charger is located in Cumming, GA 30041.  I am available to show the car during the week in the
evenings between 5-7pm and most times on the weekend.  I have a full time job so if you call during the
day and I don't answered, please a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.  Texts
during the day are best or emails thru eBay.

John Schneider's General Lee Dodge Charger up for auction

Thu, Jun 25 2015

Over 150 years after it was first adopted, the Confederate flag is disappearing from license plates, state-legislature flagpoles, and even toy cars across the American South. While some are ready to bury those Stars and Bars forever as a symbol of racism and slavery, others will miss them as an emblem of freedom. Regardless of where you stand, the emergence of this particular vehicle on the auction block couldn't have come at a more poignant time. It's a 1969 Dodge Charger, and as you can see it's been done up just like the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard. While it may not be one of the cars used in the original television series, it's not without its provenance. The vehicle is the last of four that were customized by John Schneider, the actor who – long after the rebel flag ceases to fly – will forever be remembered for his portrayal of Bo Duke on that timeless television show. It's painted orange, emblazoned with the number 01 on the doors, the words "Bo's General Lee" above each window, and that controversial flag on the roof. It also features signatures and messages inscribed by Schneider, as well as by Sonny Shroyer (who played Deputy Enos Strate on the show), and by sportscaster and former pro basketball player Jalen Rose who once owned the car. It appeared alongside Schneider in commercials and films, and in the pages of the Mopar Collector's Guide. Now it's set to be sold off to the highest bidder this weekend by Invaluable Auctions and Julien's Auctions, where it's expected to fetch between $200,000 and $300,000 – assuming the latest controversies don't hinder its chances.

2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Quick Spin

Thu, Jun 18 2015

"Scat Pack" is plucked from The Big Book of Dodge Nameplates to describe what is basically the average of the Charger R/T and Charger SRT 392. Unnecessary horsepower always seems to go down better with a dose of heritage. If you think it's a silly name, just be thankful Dodge didn't call it an S/RT or an R/T-S. In previous years, a similar formulation was known as the SRT8 Super Bee. Going by another name, it's still as sweet and wears the same hurried-looking pollinator on the grille. We do wonder: What has displeased him so, and why does he have wings and wheels? The packaging is at least fresh. All Chargers get updates for 2015, including improved interiors and a Dart-on-steroids exterior redo. The new lines work especially well on the more aggressive models, including this Scat Pack car. Like the Super Bee before it, the Scat Pack gets the 6.4-liter engine from SRT 392; for 2015 it gets a slight output boost to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, respective increases of 15 and 5. It does without the SRT three-mode suspension and comes with cloth seats (leather is an option) to keep the price down. The Scat Pack also has slightly smaller Brembo front brakes, narrower wheels, and different rubber. It does, however, cost eight grand less and is just as quick in a straight line. Intriguing. Driving Notes Scat Pack cars get an electronically controlled active exhaust that we'd call hyperactive. It's loud all the time, opening its widest at startup, idle, and when you ask for any appreciable amount of power. Sport mode supposedly makes a difference, but we couldn't discern loud from louder. It's a delicious and appropriate loudness, with a brassy trumpet tone to it, and the engine makes top-fuel noises at full tilt. The squeal of the rear tires can be heard from every stoplight no matter the road conditions. A light touch avoids leaving a mark if you're so inclined. We weren't. When the tires eventually smear into the realm of traction, this thing is pretty quick – hitting 60 miles per hour takes 4.5 seconds. There's also an adjustable launch control mode if you want to cut out some of the wheelspin. The eight-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Quicker, more-palpable shifts are had in Sport mode, but occasionally the transmission still needs a moment to drop down from seventh or eighth when you mash the throttle. Despite its two overdrive gears, this Charger is still loud on the highway. In a good way. Probably.
