1968 Charger, 2 owner car, that has only had 1 repaint. The car has the factory original 318 with automatic transmission. Its a factory p/s, p/b, and a/c car. The car was repainted to the factory blue and still retains its original interior. The car is a factory two tone blue bucket seat interior with center console and automatic on the floor. The car hits the rode perfect and has no issues. Everything on the car works just like it should. I just had the car out this past weekend at a cruise and enjoyed it very much. Perfect car for some to get in and enjoy right now, you can certainly fly in and drive this one back home across the country. The only things that you can nock on the car is that paint is not 100 percent, certainly showing its age a little, and the driver side arm rest on the door panel has separated a little and you can see that in the pictures, but other then that a very fantastic car, certainly one you can put your wife in and she can enjoy, because I've put my wife in this one and she loves it. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off eBay if sold. The car is also sold as is with no warranty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangements are made for the car to be shipped. Amazon opens contest for The Grand Tour tickets in the US

In celebration of Prime Day, which starts today, customers in the US can enter The Grand Tour Prime Day Prize Draw. Dodge Charger Pursuit nets quickest lap in police car test
Mon, 30 Sep 2013We wouldn't advocate trying to outrun the police, no matter what you're driving and no matter what they are. But if you see a Dodge Charger bearing down on you with blue lights flashing in your rearview mirror, you'd better think twice before attempting to flee, because the Charger Pursuit has once again emerged as the fastest police cruiser out there.
In the latest Police Vehicle Evaluation held by the Michigan State Police at Grattan Raceway, Dodge says its new Charger Pursuit AWD posted a lap time of 1:33.85. That's quicker than any of the other law enforcement vehicles present, but also makes it the quickest all-wheel-drive cruiser available to law-enforcement officials. That may not make it the quickest of all time, but that honor belongs to the rear-drive Dodge Charger Pursuit, which cuts a fraction of a second off its AWD counterpart's time with a 1:33.70. But in regions where the extra traction could come in handy, that's as negligible a difference as we've ever seen.
Of course, the annual PVE sessions held by the Michigan State Police take in to account a wide variety of performance tests, including top speed, acceleration, braking, handling, fuel economy and ergonomics. The MSP has yet to reveal its full findings from its 2014 model year tests, but we'll be sure to bring them to you when they are published.
Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.
