this challenger started out in el paso texas as a 318 3spd floor shift car. its still has all its original rust free sheet metal fenders, doors, quarters, and floors "all of it". i have 30 cars here, they're my hobby this one was one of the easiest restoration to do but not cheap none of them are!!! every thing has been reconditioned with the exception of the dash, its not restored and is very nice. windows wind up and down nice as there suppose to, same is for there closure as is the trunk lid. panel alignment is excellent, paint and striping are from a 1 to 10 scale a strong 8.5 this is not a "trailer queen " its meant to be driven and with that, let me say its performance is like new still having all its original suspension except for shocks, this challenger is pure pleasure to drive no rattles squeaks or issues everything in the drive line is new except the rear end and it is fine, fluid is changed and has no issues. the motor is a 69 340 with new six pack intake and carbs it runs on pump fuel with 104 octane additive the engine was completely rebuilt with mild comp cam so as to not to cause headaches with normal every day driving that's rite every day driving the car now has 74134 original miles it has less than 500 since being restored the 4 spd is rebuilt as is the shifter with new pistol grip handle factory 14 inch rally wheels and t/a radials yep they're on the car it has 2 1/2 inch aluminized exhaust all welded joints and high flow mufflers with new r/t style tips i know i know every buddy wants side exhaust but at the time i wasn't intending to sell any of my cars so i built it the way i wanted with out the side exhaust and that god awhfull fender lettering that looks like a 3rd grader designed it yikes!!! any way call me with any questions about the car and look for sale of my other muscle cars coming up in the next few weeks 68 gtx 4spd dana 60 car and 66 mustang fastback 347 stroker 5spd 9inch thanks steve @724 944 5646 im semi retired a can possibly deliver the car any where in the us or canada for free. after its paid for!!! $1000 due at end of auction and paid in full with in 7 business days... cars are being sold because of cleaning and storage concerns. just don't seem to have the time to polish and detail them like they deserve Ive enjoyed the restoration its time to let go. this car is not a real numbers matching 70 T/A challenger or id be getting $55,000 for it

Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets
Fri, 18 Oct 2013Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.
Ron Burgundy returns for four more Dodge Durango ads
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Dodge has released several more of its Anchorman 2-themed commercials, starring Will Ferrell as inept newsreader Ron Burgundy. The four spots, one of which is a sequel to a previous commercial, follow roughly the same pattern as previous ads, with Ferrell's Burgundy misunderstanding or generally making a fool of himself. For some of the ads, though, Burgundy is selling more than just Durangos - the red-suited host of San Diego's most watched news broadcast shilling the entire Dodge lineup.
We've included all four ads down below, and you can also hope over to our original posts to see some of the older commercials. Oh, and if you're getting tired of these - we aren't, aside from the Do-dge spot - just remember that Ferrell reportedly filmed around 70 ads for Dodge.
Dodge Challenger Scat Pack adds power and noise, with a warranty
Thu, 17 Apr 2014If you want to go fast, there's certainly nothing wrong with the Dodge Challenger SRT8. With 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque for 2014, there's certainly not much to complain about. But what if you want something more aftermarket in flavor? There's no shortage of options, but while turning to the tuner world will make your car plenty fast, that extra power won't just shred rear tires, it'll torch your warranty, as well. That's where Dodge's Scat Pack comes in.
With three stages of mods for both the 5.7 and 6.4-liter Hemi V8s Challenger (as well as the 5.7-liter Charger and, soon, the four-pot Dart), the Scat Pack cars give drivers all the power, aggression and noise of a heavily modded aftermarket car while maintaining the piece of mind provided by the Dodge warranty.
Power gets bumped up to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque with the 6.4-liter Scat Pack, while the 5.7-liter can provide up to 58 hp and 47 lb-ft of torque to add to the stock engine's 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet. It's the latter engine that can really get some work done, with upgrades ranging from the mundane - intake and exhaust - to the racy, like the ported heads and high-flow headers.
