2006 DODGE C/V CARAVAN CARGO VAN 3.3L V6 TWO OWNER CLEAN CARFAX We at CAMPBELL BROTHERS AUTO SALES INC. are offering for sale this 2006 DODGE CARAVAN CARGO VAN with a 3.3L V6. This van was a corporate lease return and has been kept in good condition. This van has higher miles however you could never tell from the way it looks and runs. This van was used for light delivery and has not seen heavy or dirty work. The exterior is straight, there are not dents, scratches and no signs of previous body repair. The only cosmetic flaw we could see is about a 3 inch crack on the right lower corner of the front bumper. The driver and passenger area is clean however there are some light burns on the seats. The cargo area is also quite clean with no signs of heavy or dirty use. The Caravan C/V is a highly versatile vehicle. It can be seen in pictures if you look close on the gray portion of the bumper cover. Overall a good looking vehicle. INTERIOR: The interior is in good condition.The only interior flaws we could see are a few burns in the front seats and some scratches on the side panels in the cargo area. Overall clean interior. DRIVE TRAIN: Starts, runs, and drives good. Front tires are new and the rear tires have about 80% tread. You can pick this van up and drive it anywhere. Dodge Charger R/T NHRA Funny Car is ready to burn rubber at SEMA [w/video]
Wed, 05 Nov 2014The Dodge Charger R/T is all set to rocket down the drag strip in NHRA Funny Car competition with a completely redesigned body debuting at this year's SEMA Show. While only the front decal, side scallops and rear logo really signal this racer as a Charger, that doesn't take away from its promise of hitting absolutely ludicrous speeds.
The engineers' biggest tweak to the body was moving the cockpit further back. This created more clearance under the hood, and the change came with added advantage of giving the driver better visibility out of the car. Composites like Kevlar also helped make the one-piece shell even lighter, while not sacrificing strength.
The new design has already undergone extensive time in the wind tunnel and real-world runs to make sure that none of the changes negatively impacted the aerodynamics. With those tests out of the way, the Charger R/T Funny Car will have the first chance to truly prove itself in NHRA competition at the 2015 Winternationals from February 5-9 at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, CA.

Fri, 24 Oct 2014We all knew That Kid. As a freshman, he was a big kid, overweight but surprisingly strong. Still, he was often picked on for his size. Then, he chatted with the football coach, who convinced him that his true calling was on the team's offensive line. After a season on the freshman squad and a summer of two-a-days, this mild-mannered, husky high schooler returned for his sophomore year as a big, imposing, solid piece of muscle. Needless to say, the same bullies that picked on him were praying he'd forgotten about them as a 10th grader.
That's the V8-powered 2015 Dodge Challenger. It arrived on the scene with a max of 425 horsepower and a bit of a weight problem. It completed its proverbial freshman year with a nice 2011 refresh, where the SRT8 was bumped up to 470 hp, but it still had some work to do.
Enter 2015, and fresh off three months of constant burpees and wind sprints, the newest Challenger is as big and powerful as it's ever been, but it's now got poise and potential, and my goodness, it's fun in a way that Dodge's muscle car has never been.
How fracking is causing Chrysler minivans to sit on Detroit's riverfront
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It's fascinating the way that one change to a complex system can have all sorts of unintended consequences. For instance, there are hundreds of new Chrysler Town and County and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans built in Windsor, Ontario, sitting in lots on the Detroit waterfront because of the energy boom in the Bakken oil field in the northern US and parts of Canada.
The huge amount of crude oil coming from these sites mostly use freight trains for transport, and that supply boom has resulted in a shortage of railcars to carry other goods. According to The Windsor Star, North American crude oil transport by train has gone from 9,500 carloads in 2008 to 434,032 carloads in 2013. Making matters worse, some North American rail infrastructure is still damaged because of this year's harsh winter, and that's slowing things down even further.
Chrysler admits to The Star that it has had some delivery delays due to the freight train shortage. In the meantime, it's using more trucks to deliver its vehicles. Trucking is a far less economical solution, partially because a train can carry so many more units at one time, but alternatives are slim. The Windsor plant alone has a deal for 33 trucks to distribute the minivans around Canada and the Midwestern US.
