The van in this listing is for a once reliable Dodge Caravan. It is used and being sold as is. It is well utilized coming in at 190,099. The van needs some mechanic's work to get it to run. With that perhaps you will be the one to see this van go over and above the 200,000 mark as I had wanted to. This van is from a smoking and pet owner home.
The problem:
The van starts up, runs for a short time, then stalls. I looked this up in the Haynes and from what I could troubleshoot it may be something to do with a filter on top of the gas tank. BUT I am not sure.
Repairs:
I have part records for repairs from July 2010 to date. The following was done: water pump, slack idler/tension pulley, disc brake caliper front left, rotor front left, fuel pump, fuel filter, brake line, idle air control valve.
Exterior:
The tires are about a year old with about 10,000 miles on them. Rust on sliding door. Left front fender has dent/rust. Rear hatch has rust on bottom part of door. Roof has dent, scratches, rust. Right quarter panel behind driver door has scratches. Hood has dents and scratches. Dent on back hatch near plate area and rust around the handle to open back hatch.
Interior:
The interior needs to be detailed as it is dirty from years of use. The visor on the drivers side is ripped. The material above the driver's side head is coming unglued.
I purchased this van about ten years ago from Healey Brothers. I believe it had one owner before I had purchased it. I have owned it since I purchased it. I have the title to the van. It has a lien creditor on it, but I have a letter from the creditor stating they have no interest in the vehicle as the loan was satisfied. I believe you will need that to get your title updated when you go to DMV.
If you win or purchase this van you will have to call me to arrange for a day to pick this vehicle up with a tow truck. I will Ebay message you my phone number. I would like to have the van moved within five days of the winning bid or purchase. If this is a problem contact me by Ebay message before bidding or purchasing. Thank you.
Please look at the pictures and read the listing. If you have any questions please ask before bidding or purchasing. This is a used vehicle that needs repaired for it to run. As previously stated I am not sure what needs to be done to repair it. There also may be other mechanical issues that I may be unaware of that may arise as this is a 1999 vehicle with almost 200,000 miles. But I have listed what I know.
The last inspection on the van was December 2012. It passed.
The scooter inside the van does not go with the van sale.
I do not accept returns. No refunds. Any questions ask first.
PayPal only please for deposit. No echecks.
Local pick up.
Thank you for your time to look at this listing.

Ralph Gilles responds to Dodge rumors, says brand is 'here to stay'
Fri, 12 Jul 2013This is why we love Ralph Gilles. While in Italy hanging out with a group of Viper Club members in Europe, the SRT boss took the time to respond to a question directed at him on Instagram in regards to the future of Dodge.
Recent reports have painted a bleak picture for Dodge, but Gilles defended Chrysler's full-line brand by stating that the rumors are, "all rumors, Dodge is here to stay! It may get more focused going forward but not killed!" The idea of a "more focused" Dodge brand could lend some credibility to reports that the Grand Caravan and Durango are on their way out, which would leave Dodge solely as a car, or car-based, automaker.
Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites
Sun, Jan 7 2024Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.
Are you the Dodge Dart SRT4?
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Dodge has just confirmed that it will be bringing its newest Dart variant, the Dart GT, to Detroit next week, but we're still in the dark about when we'll see a truly hotted-up SRT4 version. But now, by way of the rumormill anyway, we've got at least one proposed, potentially Dodge-based rendering to light our way.
Seen here is what would appear to be a design sketch of the SRT4 Dart. Obviously the image that has surfaced is of rather low-resolution, but there's at least some evidence to support that it may be legitimate. In the original picture, one can just make out the name Tim Doyle in the lower right corner. As it turns out, Tim Doyle's name is also watermarked on the final design image for the 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel Black & Tan, a model that was shown at SEMA in 2010.
Of course, even if this really is the work of Doyle, there's nothing to say that this image isn't one of a great many potential looks for the future SRT4. In fact, the departure of the cross-hair grille from the Dodge's nose seems like it could be a hard sell, though we do, naturally, dig the sleek hood scoop and the bulked up wheel/tire combination.
