I am looking to sell my 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT-4. The car is nice and clean, never driven by a smoker. At the time of the listing the car has just under 30000 miles, but it is my daily driver (50 miles one way) so the number might go up. I bought the car almost a year ago and I am very happy with it. I am looking to sell it however, because I am tired of driving stick-shift in traffic. From my understanding the vehicle is pretty rare. It is a great car for young person looking to impress. Great to learn how to drive stick. It has a small engine which means it will be great on gas. According to my calculations I easily get 25mpgs in city/highway.
History:
The car has an "S" title. The vehicle was stolen and then auctioned off by the insurance agency after it was recovered. There was no damage. After it was bought by a dealer at an auction, it was then sold to my family member who drove it for some time. I bought the car with just over 13000 miles on it and drove it ever since. Absolutely no problems.
Upgrades:
I am a firm believer that the more you mess with the car, the more likely it is for something to go wrong with it. That's why the upgrades were done to make the car look better. Everything mechanical is stock.
The previous owner did all the upgrades to the car. The back window and rear side windows are tinted (legal in NJ). Extra speakers were put in in the front doors (I think they're called tweeters). The stereo is also wired for a sub-woofer and amplifier with wires running to the trunk. The SRT model of the Caliber does not come with a spare tire, but I bough a "doughnut" and a jack which now comes with my car.
Shortly after I bought the car I noticed that one of the taillights was retaining water. Since the pictures were taken I have replaced the taillights which are now stock (no dark paint). They look beautiful. Message me if you'd like to see more pictures.
Maintenance:
The car gets full synthetic oil. It has been replaced every 6000 miles with dealer-recommended Mobil 1 SAE 0W-40. Last week I just replaced the brake pads. Front tires were put on this winter, but rear tires need to be replaced by the end of this summer. The vehicle also requires premium gasoline and that's what I've used every single fill up.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have. I am not a mechanic, but I will do my best to answer all your questions. Serious inquires only.

Roadkill builds crazy-cheap 1968 Dodge Charger rat rod using an old motorhome
Tue, 24 Dec 2013Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." By the end, though, the payoff is good enough to make you think about perusing AutoTrader for a '68 Charger just to see if maybe...
Sunday Drive: The future looks bright, and the present ain't bad, either
Sun, Oct 1 2017A look at the week that just passed proves that Autoblog readers love looking into the future. Spy photos of the next Porsche 911 and a mysterious Dodge Demon prototype led the way last week as some of our most popular stories. A teaser from Subaru has our appetites whetted for the next WRX, and we're intrigued by the value proposition offered by the rear-wheel-drive Kia Stinger. Long-distance motorcycle tourers went gaga over leaked images of the next Honda Gold Wing. Such intense interest comes as no surprise considering that it's the standard by which all its competitors are judged, and it looks to be getting some serious new technology in its next iteration. And finally, we can't help tooting our own horn a bit. Autoblog just launched a brand-new Car Finder tool, which, after getting a few data points to work with, offers up a perfect list of vehicles for new-car buyers. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2019 Porsche 911 to get digital interior — only the tach will be analog Spy Shots: What the devil is Dodge up to with this narrow-body Challenger Demon? Watch these Super Bowl car commercials [UPDATE]
Sat, Feb 2 2019On Sunday, February 3, the New England Patriots take on the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 53 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Some will watch because of the storyline of the old-school dynasty facing off against the new-school wunderkinds, but a large chunk of people will solely be watching for the commercials. Lucky for those who slot into the latter category, many of the manufacturers release their super bowl ads ahead of time, or have simply opted to release the commercials only online. Scroll down to see what car companies have already shown their cards. Audi Audi goes the comedic route in its clip for the Big Game. It starts with a grandpa showing his grandson a gorgeous Audi e-tron GT tucked away in a garage before he's shaken awake. Turns out he was just choking on a cashew in his cubicle at his boring job. Dodge Dodge does what it knows: create enough smoke to punch more holes in the ozone layer. Set to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia (the Super Bowl is in Atlanta, get it!?), a Challenger SRT Hellcat widebody, Charger SRT Hellcat, and Durango SRT are seen ripping through a city, leaving a trail of rubber crumbs in their wakes. Genesis Genesis has not yet released a commercial prior to the Super Bowl, but it is the official luxury vehicle of the NFL. Because of this, Genesis is hosting a fan experience for 10 days before the game. It will showcase the brand's cars, offer games, and have photos opportunities and autograph days. Hyundai Jason Bateman alert! Hyundai is one of the few companies to hook a major celebrity for its advertisement, and the casting is perfect. Bateman plays a doorman who takes people to various terrible events in life, including root canals, the middle seat, and shopping for a car. The ad centers around Hyundai's Shopper Assurance, which is Hyundai's new method for car shopping. Jeep An old 1963 Jeep Gladiator finds its strength in the crusher and transforms into a a new 2020 Gladiator, with a firm declaration that the nameplate is officially back. Kia Through Kia's commercial, a young boy wonders out loud what it'd be like if the millions spent on Super Bowl commercials were used to help others.
