THIS IS A VERY NICE CAR THAT WE PURCHASED JUST THE WAY IT IS NOW. GET IT FOR ALMOST HALF OF RETAIL!! GET IT FOR THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS LESS. IT ONLY HAD 1,453 MILES ON IT WHEN WE BOUGHT IT! WE WERE TOLD BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER THAT IT HAD REAR DAMAGE. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT AND HAS THE POWERFUL 3.6VVT 283HP ENGINE THAT IS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE IF NEED BE. IT IS A AUTO TRANS. BUT CAN ALSO BE SHIFTED MANUALLY. WE TRUST THIS CAR TO DRIVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH NO ISSUES. MY FATHER PASSED IN MARCH SUDDENLY, AND WE HAD TO DRIVE NONSTOP 12 HRS. WE HAVE A CADILLAC, A BMW, MUSTANG GT, AND THE AVENGER. WE TOOK THE AVENGER KNOWING WE WOULD HAVE NO ISSUES. THE CAR HAS THE HEAT PACKAGE, WITH THE TWO TONE RED AND BLACK INTERIOR. IT ALSO HAS A NICE SUNROOF AND NICE AGGRESSIVE WHEELS. PLEASE UNDERSTAND, THIS IS NOT THE 2.4 CYL BASE MODEL. THIS IS THERE MOST EXPENSIVE MODEL WITH ALL THE OPTIONS. THE CAR DOES HAVE MINOR, I SAID MINOR, CHIPS ON THE HOOD AND FOR SOME REASON THE DOME LIGHT ON THE INTERIOR IS MISSING. ALL OTHER LIGHTS ARE FUNCTIONAL. THERE ARE NO DASH WARNING LIGHTS ON SUCH AS AIRBAG OR ANYTHING ELSE. WE WELCOME AN INSPECTION, AND EVEN THOUGH THE CAR HAS A REBUILT TITLE, I KNOW YOU CAN PUT 100K MILES ON THIS CAR AND DRIVE IT AS MANY YEARS AS YOU DESIRE. THE A/C BLOWS SUPER COLD, AND THE TIRES ARE IN 2011 SHAPE. WE JUST DID THE OIL CHANGE, AND ALSO HAD MY MECHANIC GO OVER THE COOLING SYSTEM BEFORE SUMMER GETS HERE IN FLORIDA. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
This SEMA special drag race is absurdly awesome
Fri, Dec 5 2014The SEMA Show came and went last month, and it showed us a ton of heavily modded goodies to dream about during the long, cold winter. The Motor Trend Channel on YouTube is keeping the party rolling a little longer, though, with a drag race inspired by the aftermarket event. All of the hosts were supposed to borrow a vehicle from the show for the big race, but only two of them actually cajoled companies into lending their wares. Still, the result includes four very cool and extremely different examples of the breadth of the automotive hobby. First up, there's a 1955 Chevrolet with a 535-cubic-inch (8.8-liter) Hemi V8 stuffed under the hood. Appropriately, it's dubbed the Blasphemi, and with skinny tires up front, fat rubber in the rear and a stripped interior, this this is made to go very fast in a straight line. Next, there's a stock Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat boasting 707 horsepower. Plus, host Jessi Lang has her dog riding shotgun for the race. A Chevy Sonic RS with some body mods, downpipe and intake is also competing. Finally, the most bizarre of the quartet is a custom 1958 Jeep Forward Control with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and treads to replace the wheels. Obviously, the Blasphemi and Hellcat are the only two that really have a chance of winning, but check out the video to see which one crosses the finish line first.
