Shipping and payments:
$500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required 2 days after the end of auction via paypal. this will be deducted from the total amount.
the remainder is CASH ON PICKUP.

please check out the car first before bidding. you bid = your satisfied with its condition.

because this is a highly modified car. it is sold AS IS. as I wont be there to witness what the buyer would do to the car. for all I know they crank up the boost without checking the afr and blame me for any damage.

for those that would like to ship the car. CONTACT ME FIRST before bidding. that way I can asses possible payment and shipping arrangement.
if your having someone else checkout the car for you and ship it. then id suggest you wire them the cash and have them deal with me in person.
still $500 non refundable deposit is required.

for any scam - dont bother. I will require all transaction come from verified address and actual home phone, etc. = more complicated proccess which is why i ask it to be cash on pick up.

with that said. contact me with ANY QUESTION. ANY PIC request etc. Im more than happy to take specific pics or answer any questions you may have had.

VIDEO Walk through of car can be seen here. this is as detailed as I can get it. so if i miss something just ask.

Datsun officially reborn with Go model for India [w/video]

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

In March of 2012, Nissan announced the return of its historic Datsun brand. Datsun used to represent the Nissan brand in a number of markets, but its badge hasn't been worn on a new model since 1981. In 2013, though, it has been relaunched as the Japanese manufacturer's budget offering in the emerging markets of India and Russia.
The model that will lead that charge, at least in India, is the Go, a car that pays tribute to the very first Datsun, the DAT-GO.
The operative term with the Datsun brand is: "budget offering." Don't step inside the Go and expect beautiful hides or brushed metals (it's being sold in India, after all). The instrument cluster features a simple speedometer, while the five-speed manual and the center stack above it are rather barren. It's not without luxuries, though, as iPod-style connectivity is available through a Mobile Docking Station.

Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.

Malaise Era All-Stars

Fri, 17 May 2013

A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:
