 EXPORT, NO PROBLEM...

This is a SUPER COOL Rust Free Custom 240Z in excellent, Restored, low mile condition. Classic Z car has been fully restored from frame up as a vintage race car REPLICA and up-graded with style and performance in mind... THIS IS NOT A RACE CAR but could become one if desired... it is a street car, professionally and painstakingly done and meticulously maintained and loved. Has really nice period detail  and modern updates to make it a reliable, fun, and awesome looking driver. Body and interior were completely stripped and freshly restored and Entire drivetrain and suspension completely rebuilt and up-graded less than 10,000 miles ago.  Looks, runs, feels, and drives fantastic. Excellent daily driver or weekend cruiser, track car, or addition to any collection... show car potential. A true head turner and a blast to drive.

Body is super straight with no rust or collision damage whatsoever. Started with a former 70's show car. Body was stripped and taken down to bare metal... period flares were redone and excellent quality repaint in satin black. This is no primer job... paint presents beautifully with only minor niks and blemishes. Has lots of cool detail like tow hooks, period air dam, oil cooler... etc. Underside is ultra straight and clean. Has redone period correct Western Turbine wheels with near new wide Goodrich tires...

Interior was also totally stripped and redone...  painted with deep platinum/pewter finish... Fuel cell and roll bar are beautifully welded in...  everything is fresh. Carpet. Panels and dash look great with a nice dash cover.  Racing style seats and belts are super comfortable and supportive... Belts are easy to use as lap only or one or 2 shoulder straps... I have some newly redone stock 72 seats if preferred. New racing Gauges and electronics work properly, all electronics still there and functioning as they should... heater/blower, wipers, signals, lights, etc..

Rebuilt and massaged L24 Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent... Super responsive with, Dual Webers, Electronic ignition, Headers and custom exhaust... sounds like a Ferrari and feels extremely strong. Rebuilt 4 Speed trans with performance clutch shifts smooth through the gears. Suspension
has been rebuilt and up-graded with new bushings, shocks, springs... feels tight and handles excellent. Stops straight and sure.  EXCELLENT, fun driver.

Overall this is a Super nice little custom Z in awesome condition all around... it is extremely well maintained and nicely up-graded. Awesome daily driver or weekend cruiser, track car or potential show car. I am a Z collector... this is a great one for any Z car enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, vintage sports car at a great price.

The car is located in Beverly Hills... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. I'm open to interesting trades (in accordance with ebay guidelines) but no projects or junk please.

Roadkill pits every project car against each other

Sat, 22 Feb 2014

The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.

Datsun previews new budget sedan for Russia [w/video]

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

Nobody does cars on the cheap quite like the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The former part of the equation already has its Dacia brand of cost-effective, no-frills vehicles that have become a favorite of Top Gear co-host James May, and last summer, the latter revived its Datsun nameplate for a budget brand of its own.
The reborn Datsun launched in India this past July with its Go hatchback, returned in September with the Go+ minivan and revealed the Redi-Go concept just last month. And now it's given us our first look at an upcoming budget sedan developed specifically for the Russian market.
The as-yet unnamed vehicle (which we'll bet will incorporate the word "go" into its nameplate somehow) is set to debut on April 4, where it will launch the Datsun brand in Russia. Few details are available at this point, but the low-cost sedan was designed in Japan to offer Russian drivers "an engaging driving experience, peace of mind ownership and accessibility at the right and transparent price, with a competitive Total Cost of Ownership."
