1978 Datsun 280Z , Nice clean original car, No Rust, Runs good , Drives, Good, New tires and wheels, Air conditioning blows cold, everything works including the
clock ( keeps time) . Clutch/ Trans shift and work fine, brakes good, car runs good, just passed California emissions test. Current registration . Engine is original , odo shows 13323
I believe with the condition of vehicle ,mileage is 113,323. Age of vehicle ,selling as TMU ( true mile unknown) small spot in paint lower passenger door where trim piece was attached ( see picture) . The car appears to have one re-paint. same original color ( see color code in picture) small blemish on hatchback where louvers attach. The car comes with the louvers and car cover.. cd changer located in rear of car, ( see picture) Clean Z's are getting harder to find where someone has not hacked into them .

Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster
Tue, 28 Jan 2014A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
Datsun officially reborn with Go model for India [w/video]
Mon, 15 Jul 2013In March of 2012, Nissan announced the return of its historic Datsun brand. Datsun used to represent the Nissan brand in a number of markets, but its badge hasn't been worn on a new model since 1981. In 2013, though, it has been relaunched as the Japanese manufacturer's budget offering in the emerging markets of India and Russia.
The model that will lead that charge, at least in India, is the Go, a car that pays tribute to the very first Datsun, the DAT-GO.
The operative term with the Datsun brand is: "budget offering." Don't step inside the Go and expect beautiful hides or brushed metals (it's being sold in India, after all). The instrument cluster features a simple speedometer, while the five-speed manual and the center stack above it are rather barren. It's not without luxuries, though, as iPod-style connectivity is available through a Mobile Docking Station.

Fri, 17 May 2013A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:
