1975 datsun 280z

This is a rare original car, one owner no modern mods.  Everything is period correct, like mag wheels, Pioneer radio with equalizer (original radio will be included)
It has performance lower suspension datsun-nissan installed by dealer a few years from new, but the original suspension will be included in the sale (stock suspension will raise the height of the car).
Stronger and thicker sway bars are installed as well ( stock sway  bars are included too).
This is one owner car, with hundreds of maintenance receipts and original sale receipt . Manuals, service records, maintenance book and all original tools are present and in great condition.
I bought this car with the intention of swapping the bumpers and the front splitter for 240z, but this car is in such a nice shape and original that I don't feel like altering it at all. If the car is bought for asking price the swapping parts for small bumpers will be included as well.
there is no rust in the car, the Floors are solid, dog legs are perfect, and battery tray is clean of rust too. The rear deck is clean with no rust either, frame rails are dried and not rusted .
Interior wise, it is completely  intact and in beautiful shape. All the gauges working even the clock. The oil temp takes very long to start metering ( may need new connector)
This datsun has only 118000 miles, documented miles with preventive maintenance done.
the car was repainted in the early 80 s but now painting shows scratches, rock chips and dull color. It will Need a paint job to make it perfect.

Engine, transmission are strong and all the emission system is present. New exhaust system is installed on the car.  This car will make a long trip without issues. the driver side mirror has a crack on it.

Very hard to find clean examples like this one nowadays. The stance of the car is beautiful and the driving experience is exact what u would expect from a classic sports car. The car also had the cam worked out , so the idle is lumpy but it sounds very nice without strong uncomfortable noise.

I welcome inspections, and drive test available. Please contact me before bidding, if you have any questions. Please be preper to pay if you bid.

Expect an used car, with blemishes in the paint, it is not a new car but in beautiful condition.

NO RESERVE
$500 non refundable deposit right after auction ends by PAYPAL
$7800 buy it now price

I will help ship this car to USA, Canada, Mexico or any other country where this car can legally be imported.
Shipping to USA goes from $300 to washington to $1500 to FL, NY, maybe less to closer states.

Datsun officially reborn with Go model for India [w/video]

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

In March of 2012, Nissan announced the return of its historic Datsun brand. Datsun used to represent the Nissan brand in a number of markets, but its badge hasn't been worn on a new model since 1981. In 2013, though, it has been relaunched as the Japanese manufacturer's budget offering in the emerging markets of India and Russia.
The model that will lead that charge, at least in India, is the Go, a car that pays tribute to the very first Datsun, the DAT-GO.
The operative term with the Datsun brand is: "budget offering." Don't step inside the Go and expect beautiful hides or brushed metals (it's being sold in India, after all). The instrument cluster features a simple speedometer, while the five-speed manual and the center stack above it are rather barren. It's not without luxuries, though, as iPod-style connectivity is available through a Mobile Docking Station.

37K miles in a 1967 Datsun Roadster

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

When we think of comfy, long-distance road cars, there are a few obvious choices. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Bentley Continental GT or, assuming fuel efficiency isn't paramount, a Range Rover are all good options for a road trip. But what if that road trip was 37,000 miles? Maybe something more reliable but still comfortable, then, like a Honda Accord. What about a 1967 Datsun Roadster?
As insane as it sounds, Scott Fisher is doing just that, running a Datsun 1600 Roadster across North America and racking up 13,500 miles in his first three months on the road. His total journey will see him pile over 37,000 miles on his red convertible. The car is lightly modified, but most of the work is for the sake of reliability and comfort, with a five-speed manual 'box, an upgraded radiator and electronic ignition.
Fisher's trip hasn't been all smooth, with a few typical bits of trouble. He also ran into some deer in Utah, quite literally, clipping one of the animals, which delivered quite a bit of damage to the passenger's front fender (hence the rear three-quarter view in our lead shot). Still, the car seems to be holding up well, as shown in this latest video from Petrolicious.
