Only visible flaws are as follows: 1) Om rear quarter panel, driver's side, below the round black and chrome Z emblem, there appears a small paint flaw. Measures 2x4 inches. Unknown origin. Perhaps something was spilled or dripped on panel. Does not show up on a photograph. Could be compounded or wet sanded out. 2) Small, irregular crack, 3 inches in length, on the bottom leading edge of the hood. Sheet metal crack -cheap, vintage Japanese sheet metal. I just want to disclose those two issues, so no one will be disappointed with the car.
Car is very attractive. The paint is less than a year old. White stripes are perfectly laid, and straight. Bight white interior,and new bucket seats upholstery really stand out. Great curb appeal.In original condition, not modified, not altered. New rear struts. New starter.

Malaise Era All-Stars
Fri, 17 May 2013A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:

Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
Datsun to unveil second model later this month
Sun, 08 Sep 2013Datsun, Nissan's new sub-brand for emerging markets, has announced plans to unveil its second model. Its first, the Go, was unveiled almost two months ago, and promised affordable, connected motoring for five in a handsome hatchback body. Datsun is following that up with a pair of new models for Indonesia.
The first of these two new vehicles will be shown on September 17 in Jakarta, eschewing the typical auto show debut. It's targeted at so-called "risers," the nickname for a group of highly aspirational customers in the Indonesian market. Datsun developed it locally with help from Nissan, and it'll cost under 100 million Indonesian rupiah (about $8,900 at today's rates).
