1982 280ZX Turbo PARTS CAR
This vehicle has not been started in over 10 years Cleaning up my graddaddy's estate and he used to like Z cars I dont have the title for it and its belived to be a salvage title. I was not the last registered owner so please dont ask me to get a duplicate....I cant. I will update the listing if I find the title but for now lets say there is no title. I also have not found the keys...If i find them I will update the listing. This car is rusty and has floorpan and frame rot. Please understand this is a parts car only!!!! Engine is completely intact and ran when the car was parked. The car has T Tops and power windows. Its been sitting for 10 years in the weather so please understand the rust and deterioration issues. Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster
Tue, 28 Jan 2014A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
First new Datsun in decade sketched, set for Indian reveal
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Nissan's Datsun nameplate revival will begin with two models bound for the Indian market. Nissan has released sketches of a five-door hatchback based on the Micra (codenamed K2) and a top-down view of a hood that could potentially be from a sedan.
The company's press release says all will be revealed on July 15 in New Delhi, India. The Datsun lineup will be first offered in 2014 to that country's ride-deprived residents as well as Indonesia and Russia. Later in 2014, South Africa will join the list.
We've heard Nissan plans for Datsuns to share platforms with company-owned Lada. In January, we heard the projected price tag could be around $3,000 USD to compete with Chinese imports. The official press release (which can be read in full below) says nothing about either of these reports, however.
