This is an Awesome Original 240Z in Excellent restored low mile condition. Great all around classic Z car has been meticulously restored, maintained, and loved and it shows. Full professional, high quality cosmetic and mechanical restoration with some minor custom up-grades. Reliable and fun driver looks, runs, feels, and drives fantastic. Excellent daily driver or weekend cruiser, show car, or addition to any collection.

Body is extremely straight with no signs of collision damage or rust whatsoever. Excellent quality repaint presents beautifully with only the most minor minor niks and blemishes. Chrome, rubber, and moldings look excellent. Underside is super straight and clean. Period correct wheels and caps with near new tires.

Interior is in excellent shape as well... Seats, Panels, Carpet, Headliner are all excellent. Yellow accents easily dyed black if desired. Dash has excellent cover installed. Nice modern stereo sounds great. Gauges and electronics work properly, except the clock (of course!).

Rebuilt motor starts, runs, and idles excellent... very responsive. Has the coveted E31 head. Custom exhaust sounds awesome and feels extremely strong. Rebuilt carbs work great. 4 Speed trans shifts smooth through the gears. Redone Suspension feels tight and handles great. Stops straight and sure. Superb driver goes down the road with no wiggles, wobbles, or shakes.

Overall this is a fabulous little classic Z in excellent condition all around... Awesome daily driver or weekend cruiser, or show car. I am a Z collector... this is an excellent one for any Z car enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, original vintage sports car at a great price. Fly in and drive this one home... :)

Fiat contemplating sub-brand to compete with Dacia, Datsun

You can add Fiat to the admittedly short list of automakers considering a low-cost brand to rival Dacia. The inexpensive Eastern European brand from Renault-Nissan has performed on the balance sheet like a premium model line, and the money the alliance is taking off the table is encouraging other players to deal themselves in. Pretty soon Nissan's Datsun sub-brand will join the Dacia party, going on sale in Russia, Indonesia and India and will claim even more rubles, rupiahs and rupees for the parent company. Volkswagen recently said it will make a decision this year on a budget line for the Chinese market. With the euthanasia of Lancia and plans to move the Fiat brand upmarket, company CEO Sergio Marchionne wonders aloud to Automotive News Europe whether there could be room for a new budget brand underneath Fiat.
We're told that the initiative has been in the idea box for five years and even moved to the stage of name considerations, like Innocenti, but worries about profit kept it from realization. If such a range were to be developed, Marchionne says it couldn't be built in Italy and stay within budget, and the company is "analyzing its manufacturing capacity outside of Europe to see if a low-cost brand is viable."

Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster

A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
