Thanks for looking at my auction!

You are looking at a work of passion! I am sad to let this car go, but my vision and reality simply dont mix. The original plan was to make this car a fun and unique daily driver. I have too many project cars and this one must go. I never had any intentions of selling this car.

This car started out stock and has been slowly transformed over the past couple of years to what you see before you. A very low mileage JDM RB20DET engine was selected and shipped from a well-know importer in Texas. From there the entire engine was gone through and rebuilt where needed. New OEM seals all around! This engine in tight and works like a champ! Its properly built with a custom Water to Air Intercooler. This baby is simply waiting to be given a proper home!

Here is the following list of mods done to the car:

-Tokico Illumina Shocks and Springs
-Full Polyurethane bushing set
-New Old Stock 280Z Wood shift knob modified to fit 71c Transmission
-Series 1 240Z Steering wheel
-New Autometer Tach internals transplanted into the factory tachometer housing (OEM Look, but performs like new)
-ARP head studs
-ARP exhaust studs-No more broken exhaust studs, EVER!
-Baker Cylinder Heads Street Port & Polish (Local machine shop and race engine builder)
-Full custom Air/Water intercooler setup. Intake air temps are cooled to ambient temp, 100% efficient
-Synapse blow off valve
-Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood
-MSA Carbon Fiber Rear bumper
-Hayden 17" Two Speed Electric Fan

-Mckinney Motorsports Aluminum Radiator, 2-Row

-Nistune, custom map with moderate-to-aggressive street tune
-New N62 (Z32) Mass Air Flow Sensor
-New Wiring Specialties Harness
-Unknown JDM short shifter that came with the transmission when imported
-Rebuilt and shortened steel driveshaft
-Magnesium 5 Spoke 14" Wheels
-Like New Tires with very low mileage
-Mirror holes deleted on drivers door and repainted(ready for fender mirrors)
-HKS Intake Filter (Large)
-Misc Silicone Hoses and Couplers
-New Bosch 300L/H Fuel Pump
-New NGK Spark Plugs
-Upgraded Frint Brakes with 4-Piston 4Runner Front Brake Conversion with New EBC Pads,
-New Rear Brakes. Kept Original Rear Drums with fin-style cooling. Less brake fade and lighter than Disc Brakes. These aluminum drums are nearly impossible to overheat
-New 8000K 35-Watt HIDs

There is a LOT more done to this car than I cant even remember! The list could go on forever! This car has well over 13K just in parts invested into it not including any labor.

Notes: Vehicle is a partially completed project. Vehicle runs, drives and is legal to be on public roads. The car will still need work to become complete. The car is sold As-Is with nor warranty available, included or implied. This is a custom car!

Datsun reveals new On-Do budget sedan in Russia [w/video]

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

When Nissan revived the Datsun brand name, it essentially hit the "undo" button on the rebranding it undertook decades ago. But this time, the Datsun name is being used solely as a budget brand for developing markets. The reborn marque launched in India this past July with its Go hatchback, returned in September with the Go+ minivan and revealed the Redi-Go concept just last month. And now it's back again with the new On-Do sedan.
Launched in Moscow by CEO Carlos Ghosn, the On-Do was designed and engineered in Japan specifically for the Russian market - Nissan's fifth largest worldwide - where it will be built at the AvtoVaz plant in Togliatti. Decidedly budget-oriented, the Datsun On-Do is a four-door, five-seat econo-box measuring 172 inches long, 67 inches wide and 60 inches tall with an 18.7 cubic-foot trunk which Datsun describes as class-leading. Punctuating an otherwise bland shape is a large front grille and lighting front and rear that looks (and very well might be) bigger than the wheels.
Not that the Datsun On-Do needs a big contact patch to transfer power to the road: motivation is provided by a 1.6-liter engine with a grand total of - wait for it... wait a little longer - 87 horsepower. Which might strike you as a reasonable amount of muscle, considering the 400,000 rubles Datsun is getting for the On-Do (but consider that translates to about $11,300). That's a couple grand more than what Nissan gets for the Micra in that other giant northern country, or about the same amount it gets for the Versa in the US (which sells in Russia for 499k in rubles) - both of which are powered by what is in all likelihood the same 1.6-liter four but producing 109 hp. Of course Russia has different tax rates than the United States or Canada, but with such little power, the Datsun would fall into Russia's lowest tax bracket.

Datsun to unveil second model later this month

Sun, 08 Sep 2013

Datsun, Nissan's new sub-brand for emerging markets, has announced plans to unveil its second model. Its first, the Go, was unveiled almost two months ago, and promised affordable, connected motoring for five in a handsome hatchback body. Datsun is following that up with a pair of new models for Indonesia.
The first of these two new vehicles will be shown on September 17 in Jakarta, eschewing the typical auto show debut. It's targeted at so-called "risers," the nickname for a group of highly aspirational customers in the Indonesian market. Datsun developed it locally with help from Nissan, and it'll cost under 100 million Indonesian rupiah (about $8,900 at today's rates).
We'll have the full boatload of information on the newest member of the Datsun family when it debuts on September 17. Scroll on to read the full press release from Datsun.

Datsun debuts new seven-seat Go+ in Indonesia [w/video]

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

The Datsun name may have long since been replaced by Nissan, but the old brand is making a comeback - in certain markets, at least. Nissan relaunched the Datsun brand in July as its new budget brand for developing markets with the debut of the Go hatchback, and has now followed up with the addition of the larger Go+.
Set to be built in Indonesia at Nissan's plant in Purwakarta, the Go+ debuts today in the capital of Jakarta as the second model in the new Datsun lineup. The seven-passenger minivan features flexible seating in a compact form 13 feet long, powered by an unspecified 1.2-liter engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
Nissan isn't saying much else about the model, but hopes the new Datsun twins will account for half of its sales in Indonesia within three years. The low price target for both models - set to come in at less than 100 million rupiah ($8,700) - ought to help it get there. The lineup is then scheduled to reach other markets, starting with India, Russia and South Africa next year.
