This is an incredible survivor West Coast original 1973 240Z. I purchased this car from its second owner and did a restoration last year. The car received new paint, stripped to bare metal revealing no rust or prior collision damage. Refinished in a contemporary Root Beer Metallic Brown that is simply stunning!! The interior was redone in a complementing two tone tan with black carpet and the suspension bushings and tires were replaced for excellent ride quality. The only modification from stock is the addition of dual Weber carburetors installed when the car was new by the dealership in Fontana California. The car runs like new. Original paperwork from the dealership & maintenance receipts are included. Records from the previous owners indicate a history of professional regular maintenance. Odometer indicates 86,000, which I assume is original miles but from the condition may have been reset from a rebuild on the engine? Mechanically the car is in exceptional condition with no known mechanical issues. My wife drives it regularly and we have had great response at all the car shows. I have listed the vehicle for a Co-Work here on ebay if you have any questions feel free to call him directly his name is Glenn Call 503-577-2225 This vehicle has no warrenties and is sold in "AS-IS" condition so please ask your questions first before bidding and the buyer is responsible for ALL shipping cost no exceptions! Thanks for looking....

Autoblog Podcast #339:
First new Datsun in decade sketched, set for Indian reveal
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Nissan's Datsun nameplate revival will begin with two models bound for the Indian market. Nissan has released sketches of a five-door hatchback based on the Micra (codenamed K2) and a top-down view of a hood that could potentially be from a sedan.
The company's press release says all will be revealed on July 15 in New Delhi, India. The Datsun lineup will be first offered in 2014 to that country's ride-deprived residents as well as Indonesia and Russia. Later in 2014, South Africa will join the list.
We've heard Nissan plans for Datsuns to share platforms with company-owned Lada. In January, we heard the projected price tag could be around $3,000 USD to compete with Chinese imports. The official press release (which can be read in full below) says nothing about either of these reports, however.
Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster
Tue, 28 Jan 2014A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
