Good candidate for rehab...has been worked on and slowly restored for last few decades..Engine has been opened up in past but not sure what was done but engine runs strong..does not seem to burn oil. I can only attest to what I have done or had done... New items: Fuel pump, alternator, distributor, steering rack, front springs/shocks, stainless brake lines at wheels, fuel tank opened, cleaned, coated and resealed. Rebuilt Hitachi carbs, very good condition aftermarket wheels, tires have some life left. Car is a great project...will not take much to get on road...has not been a real driver since late 80's. Mileage is impossible (odometer reads 06830) to verify but engine pulls strong. Rear wheel wells have fiberglass repairs done (probable rust repair), rest of body/undercarriage is pretty straight. I have owned for last 3 years working at off and on but other projects have taken over. Have lots of extra parts including remaining suspension bushings(I have replaced several), oil pump, extra Hitachi carbs, repair manuals etc. These early Z's are getting rarer and rarer...I will miss her but time to move on. I have tried to be complete and honest...this is NOT A TURNKEY DRIVER...but not far off and I have priced accordingly. Car needs new owner to finish up loose ends and get her back on the road. Paypal or Money Order/Cashiers Check. I will help with shipping but arrangement is responsibility of buyer. Send email for more photos or questions. Happy Bidding!

First new Datsun in decade sketched, set for Indian reveal
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Nissan's Datsun nameplate revival will begin with two models bound for the Indian market. Nissan has released sketches of a five-door hatchback based on the Micra (codenamed K2) and a top-down view of a hood that could potentially be from a sedan.
The company's press release says all will be revealed on July 15 in New Delhi, India. The Datsun lineup will be first offered in 2014 to that country's ride-deprived residents as well as Indonesia and Russia. Later in 2014, South Africa will join the list.
We've heard Nissan plans for Datsuns to share platforms with company-owned Lada. In January, we heard the projected price tag could be around $3,000 USD to compete with Chinese imports. The official press release (which can be read in full below) says nothing about either of these reports, however.

Malaise Era All-Stars
Fri, 17 May 2013A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:
