Up for sale is this Pristine 2003 Chrysler Town and Country LXI. This vehicle is immaculate and has a Metallic light Blue exterior with Blue leather interior. The leather seats are in great condition and they are also fully powered and heated as well.  This is a very rare option to find in these cars. This Chrysler just turned 160k miles and it runs and drives fantastically. This is a really nice ONE OWNER car and probably the cleanest Town and Country on eBay. The drive is so smooth and quiet, its like driving a new minivan.
This vehicle was very well taken cared of and it shows. This vehicle needs nothing but a new caring owner and a new home. The previous owner never smoked in this car and the vehicle was always garaged kept by the middle-aged couple. This vehicle was also never involved in any accidents and has a clean carfax report on hand. I also have the original title in hand with 10 miles on it when the vehicle was purchased new by the owner.
This Minivan is loaded up with every possible option That could have been ordered. It has a DVD player with a fold down TV screen, leather interior with heated seats, power seats, 3rd row seating, ICE cold AC with rear air controls, power sliding doors and rear hatch work with remote, CD player with upgraded sound system, alloy wheels, power window, power glass moonroof, roof rack, remote keyless entry, fog lamps, power mirrors, digital controls with on board computer, and too much more to list. Im sure im forgetting things but this minivan is loaded to the max!
This Minivan comes with the two original Chrysler keys and two remote key fobs as well. We also have all the original floor mats for the vehicle, the unused spare tire and jack, and the complete tool kit as well. Its all here!
This vehicle was very well cared for and it shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and runs like a dream. The car has brand new matching tires all around with plenty of tread remaining. The previous owner just installed a brand new battery as well. We have driven it 1000 miles and it seems to be running and driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and transmission fluids and the vehicle has new brakes, new rotors, and new windshield wiper blades.
The exterior of the vehicle is super clean. The body panels are all perfect and the paintwork in perfect shape. The paint is glossy and the vehicle looks like its only a couple of years old. The exterior is in above average condition and near mint. There is no real flaws to point out on the exterior at all. Its just a great vehicle and its looks fantastic. The paint and all body panels are straight and original.
The interior of the vehicle is super clean. The seats are in great condition and the leather is supple and clean. The dash and door panels are also in perfect condition and clean.  All the trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The interior is in fantastic condition in my opinion. The interior was just completly detailed recently! There is nothing to pick on with this car. It looks 100% better then it does in the photos.
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you buy the car and are located in my local area, I will deliver it to you FREE of charge. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. I do drive this vehicle daily, so the mileage on the vehicle may be slightly higher at the end of the auction. Honda may recall up to 1M vehicles for airbag issue, following Toyota's lead

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

It seems Toyota won't be the only one recalling the faulty Takata airbag inflators for long. Honda insiders in Japan claim that the company is getting close to announcing its own worldwide campaign that would begin before the end of June.
Unnamed sources close to Honda in Japan tell Automotive News that the company is pursuing an internal investigation into possibly affected models and is working with Takata to gather more information. They claim that it could involve even more than the 1.14 million cars worldwide that the automaker covered under the first recall for the problem in April 2013, including 561,000 vehicles in the US.
Toyota jumpstarted this process last week when it recalled over 2 million cars worldwide, including 844,277 in the US. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began a preliminary evaluation into the issue following six reported incidents, and started assembling data about potentially affected models from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Chrysler. NHTSA also began investigating Takata itself.

FCA employees likely to reject UAW contract

Wed, Sep 30 2015

For a brief, blissful glimmer of time, it seemed like we might have a period of labor harmony here in the Motor City. The United Auto Workers and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the UAW's lead bargaining company, came to a pending agreement that seemed promising enough that union president Dennis Williams, shown above with FCA boss Sergio Marchionne, thought it'd be ratified by the membership. Well, he was wrong. It's widely expected that FCA's rank-and-file workforce will vote against the deal, which gave workers a raise, would establish a VEBA-style healthcare pool, and deliver a $3,000 bonus for signing the agreement, while retaining the much-hated two-tier wage system. According to The Detroit News, it'd be the first time in over three decades the union's general population didn't follow its leadership's recommendation. Two of FCA's big US facilities, Toledo Assembly and Sterling Heights Assembly, overwhelmingly voted no, with The News saying they "mathematically sealed the deal's fate." According to The News, UAW Local 1700 President Charles Bell said roughly 90 percent of SHAP's 3,000-plus union workforce voted "no" on the deal. Should the pending agreement fail as it's expected to, there are three potential avenues for the union. First, as The News details, both sides could return to the bargaining table. Second, FCA workers could hit the picket line. Finally, union leadership may opt to focus its firepower on General Motors or Ford. It's a good thing we aren't the gambling sort, because those all seem very much within the realm of possibility. Not surprisingly, rank-and-file UAW members have taken issue with the survival of the two-tier wage structure, while others simply think that union employees deserve a wage hike. There was also, we're betting, some serious concerns over the reshuffling of production that would come with a new FCA/UAW deal. As previously reported, no fewer than four UAW facilities would have their vehicle lines shuffled around, including both SHAP and Toledo. Expect more news as soon as the UAW formally announces the results of its FCA voting. Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.
