2005 Chrysler Town And Country Stow And Go Touring on 2040-cars
Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada
I have a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country Stow and Go for sale.
Characteristics of the van: * 3.8L Engine * 315000 Kms * Power windows * Power Seats * Heated Seats * Leather Seats * 6 Disc DVD Player (with RCA connections - I connected my Wii and it worked great) * Tow package * Power read side doors * Power trunk door * Over head storage compartment * Rear tinted windows * Central computer (next service, average MPG, distance until empty, temperature, direction, etc) * Air conditioner works great. Please keep in mind that this is a used van with normal wear and tear. Problems: * A few dents * Some rust (especially on the back door due to a dent) * Driver side power door is not working. Have to be open and close manually * Driver side mirror is loose. It won't affect the driving, but just so you know. * Cd player is acting out. Not sure what is going on. DVD player works great. * I have children that spent some time in long trips inside the van so naturally you will find some stains in the interior. * Aside from normal service done to the van the major repairs that the van has needed were a new radiator and fans. On the over all this van has been a great car for us. For some time it was our first car and it performed very well on long trips. We are selling it only because the van is not strong enough to tow our new travel trailer, other wise we would keep it. Yes it has some issues, and yes it has many kms. But we never really had any problems with the transmission or any major part of the car. If you can get by with the minor issues, then you will get a great car. Asking $3,500.00 |

Ferrari IPO could come any day now
Sun, Jul 12 2015According to Bloomberg, Fiat Chrysler Automotive Sergio Marchionne told reporters at the Toronto Global Forum that the Ferrari IPO could come any day now. "We are days away from filing the prospectus," said Marchionne, who declined to confirm whether rumors of involvement from UBS Group AG, JPMorgan Chase & Co and Goldman Sachs Group were accurate. In addition to an expected filing in New York, Marchionne hinted that a secondary filing could take place in Milan, Italy. Although the FCA Chief Executive didn't offer any expected sum for Ferrari, he had previously suggested that an IPO for the iconic Italian brand could be worth $1 billion, ringing the registers to the tune of 10 percent of the company's $11 billion valuation. According to Bloomberg, that potential sum is significantly higher than its own internal figures indicate after taking a poll of analysts who we assume must know a heck of a lot more about such things than we do. Considering how close we apparently are to the actual filing, though, we probably won't have to wait long to find out. Another hot topic any time Sergio is the subject of reporter questioning is a potential merger with General Motors or another large, full-line automaker. It seems there aren't any new revelations to reveal on the consolidation front, though Marchionne told reporters there were no plans to mount a hostile takeover of GM or any "other, less optimal" partners. NHTSA investigating power modules on Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans
Mon, 29 Sep 2014The Center for Auto Safety is officially petitioning the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to begin scrutinizing alleged problems with the totally integrated power module (TIPM) on about 24 Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans. The advocacy group claims that the part's failure can cause affected vehicles to stall or not start at all. NHTSA is still looking into the accusations and deciding whether a full investigation is actually warranted.
The CAS petition claims at least 70 TIPM failures, but according to NHTSA, six of the complaints are for models that don't have the modules. In 34 of the reported cases, the vehicles refused to start, and in 17 of them the engine stalled. There were also two allegations of smoke and one of a fire. However, none of these affected airbag deployment or resulted in a crash.
This petition isn't the first TIPM-related problem for Chrysler Group. A recent report in the New York Times alleged that it found 240 complaints potentially related to the issue on NHTSA's website alone. In September, the automaker also recalled 230,760 examples worldwide (188,723 in the US) of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango replace the fuel pump relay circuit inside of the TIPM-7 with one external to the unit. The original part could allegedly cause the models to stall without warning. Even earlier, the company also recalled about 80,000 examples of the Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Nitro in 2007 to have the module reprogrammed.
Chrysler 100, midsize CUV and plug-in hybrid minivan launch bid to go mainstream
Tue, 06 May 2014The news just keeps on rolling from Auburn Hills today, as Fiat Chrysler continues to detail its five-year growth plan. This time round, we're talking about Chrysler. The troubled American brand has been limited in the past few years to the lamentable Sebring/200, the Town & Country and the 300, although that's likely to change in the coming years.
"The Chrysler brand is not luxury - it's not premium. Chrysler is the mainstream American brand," brand CEO Al Gardner said during today's presentation.
Gardner set a sales target of 800,000 units by 2018, which marks an increase of 350,000 units compared to its 2013 sales results. That's a pretty big ask for a brand that's struggled to define itself over the past decade.
