2002 Chrysler Town & Country Wheelchair Handicap Van- Wyoming Owned! 81k Miles on 2040-cars
United States
2002 Dodge Town and Country Limited, Power - Loaded
Odometer: 81,390 miles Well Maintained! Presently driven by an old woman (who treated this van like a crown jewel). Never flood damaged, never wrecked, never in hurricane, and never-ever abused. zillion more photos below... plus a video of the van en route, driven by the afore mentioned old lady. (see below) THIS VAN IS FOR SALE LOCALLY. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY IF A NEIGHBOR NABS IT FIRST. 81K absurdly low original miles. Kneeling wheelchair van. Fully automatic power ramp deployment, plus the van kneels low to the ground for easier ramp and curbside access. Remote Keyless Entry. 10" lowered floor for maximum head room. Removable pedestal captains seats - accommodate any powerchair seating arrangement, etc. Dual Side-Entry Sliding Cargo Doors (makes passenger access, cargo loading, and tie-downs far easier). Great on Gas, Runs Great, Everything Works, Very Comfortable on long trips. SMOKE FREE: This van has NEVER been exposed to cigarette smoke. Nope, nada. NO WIERD SMELLS, none. I can't stand odors... so you won't have to either! PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED: This van was in use with a service dog (short haired Lab). Therefore, I just had the van Spotlessly Cleaned and DETAILED (inside & out) by our local dealership prior to this sale. I've had it detailed every year since I've owned it. All years considered, it's purdy dang clean. NEW WINDSHIELD: The windshield was very pitted and recently took a bad ding from a rock... so, I had my dealership install a brand new one a week ago. LIKE NEW TIRES: Approx one season on 'em... far more than 70% tread, smooth ride, quiet! The hub caps are somewhat tortured by city curbs (via its rural driver - Shhh, I know). BTW: Just installed its winter vinyl-floormat that protects the cargo floor from snow and wet power wheelchair tires. The mat is screwed to the floor to seasonally protect carpet - Thus, the carpet underneath is in nearly mint condition. Just realized I didn't have its winter-matt in place during the photo/video shoot.... arrrgh. I will add photo's of the vinyl mat asap. LOOK CLOSELY => NO RUST (clean Wyoming roads) and its factory undercoating has it still looking fabulous inside and out NO ACCIDENTS - no floods, no no no! No salted roads = No Ocean SALT either: unlike most mid-west and coastal vehicles. Body has earned a variety of nicks, dings and scratches from normal wear - Front left bumper has most significant visible scratch - photo's show all. There are NO cracked or broken plastics, lenzes, lights, latches, hinges, etc. Upholstery (front / back) is in Tip Top Condition, NO STAINS, NO Rips NO Tears, NO broken down padding / springs. NO accidents, No damage. Clean title. Why am I selling this? My son bought this van for me for Christmas several years ago - and then he managed high school and early university years without a vehicle of his own. I find myself driving too infrequently to justify this inequity any longer. This van is going to magically turn into a kewl pickup truck for my long deserving youngun. Yep, seriously... he is that guy, and he's that cool too. Please email any questions or concerns. I will answer all inquiries immediately. Able to show any day if you would like to come take a look and drive it before auction end. More than 70-80% tread remaining on one year old matching tires. See how clean these rocker panels are? NO RUST.. under, outer... CLEAN, no bubbling. NICE!!! Right side automatically kneels down for a lower ramp slope and easier access. Kneeler OFF/ON switch on dashboard. Probably difficult to see - but, its right side is kneeling down in the prairie for a lower ramp slope = easier access. OH I nearly forgot... Deep Cycle Cold EverStart Battery is pretty new too. No jewelry wear or damage in leather. Selling as is with no warranty and no reserve. GOOD LUCK TO ALL! THIS VAN IS FOR SALE LOCALLY. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY IF A NEIGHBOR NABS IT FIRST. BIDDERS WITH A FIVE OR LESS RATING MUST EMAIL FOR BIDDING APPROVAL |

Chrysler 200 replacement coming in January
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Autoweek reports the next Chrysler 200 will bow early next year. CEO Sergio Marchionne has said the 2015 model will debut next January, and Chrysler plans to cut the 2014 200 model year short to make way for the model's successor. According to AW, internal documents reveal 2014 model production will start this July and run through early January, 2014. The memos don't specify whether its Dodge Avenger twin will also see a shortened model year (the latter was originally rumored for discontinuation, but a successor is apparently back on the table). Chrysler is investing some $1 billion to construct paint and body facilities at its Sterling Heights, Michigan plant for the next-generation 200.
From what we've heard so far, we can expect the 2015 200 to bring a new design language to the Chrysler brand that will eventually bleed into the automaker's other products. Early reports have also suggested the four door will boast a nine-speed automatic transmission and return up to 38 miles per gallon.
Chrysler executed a very successful facelift in 2011, turning the flailing Sebring into the newly minted 200. Buyers responded enthusiastically, with sales jumping 44 percent in 2012. That step up was enough to make the 200 the brand's best-selling car. The momentum hasn't slackened, either, with sales up 21 percent during the first two months of this year.
FB Tuning debuts 400-hp carbon-bodied Chrysler Crossfire in Monaco
Wed, 30 Apr 2014The Chrysler Crossfire was, suffice it to say, a matter of taste. Based on old Mercedes-Benz mechanicals, it included retro styling accents and an armadillo roofline. Some loved it, but there was clearly room for improvement - not to mention more sales - and that's just what Italian coachbuilder FB Tuning had to showcase at the Top Marques show in Monaco this year.
Called the FB-ONE, it's based on the Crossfire, which itself was based on the same R170 chassis as the first-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK. It packs the same 3.2-liter V6 as well, which FB claims to have tuned farther than anything Daimler-Chrysler ever managed with the same engine. Whereas the SLK32 AMG packed 354 horsepower and the Crossfire SRT-6 offered 330, the FB-One packs a nice, round 400 hp, which ought to be good for a 0-60 time of little over four seconds.
As you can see, that's not all they've done with FB-One. It's also been rebodied in carbon fiber, with gold accents, deep-dish alloys that look like they came out of a casino and the headlights from an Audi A8. Whether the result is your cup of tea likely depends, as it did with the Crossfire in the first place, on your own personal tastes, so check it out for yourself in the video below.
FCA revises Renault merger offer in a bid to persuade French government
Sun, Jun 2 2019PARIS – Fiat Chrysler is discussing a Renault special dividend and stronger job guarantees in a bid to persuade the French government to back its proposed merger between the carmakers, sources close to the discussions said. The improved offer, if formalized and accepted, would also see the combined company's operations headquartered in France and the French state granted a seat on its board, two people with knowledge of the matter told Reuters on Sunday. FCA spokeswoman Shawn Morgan declined to comment. The French government, Renault's biggest shareholder with a 15 percent stake, also declined to comment. A Renault spokesman did not return calls and messages seeking comment. Italian-American FCA is engaged in intensive discussions with Renault and the French government over the $35 billion merger proposal it pitched last Monday to create the world's third-biggest carmaker. The concessions being discussed are not definitive and depend on other aspects of an emerging compromise deal, both sources cautioned. They nonetheless increase the chances that the merger plan will be approved by Renault's board, on which the French state has two seats. The board meets again on Tuesday. Some analysts and French industry leaders had voiced doubts about the 5 billion euros ($5.6 billion) in claimed cost and investment savings, and whether the proposal represents a fair deal for Renault shareholders. A Renault dividend would improve the valuation in their favor, balancing a 2.5 billion euro proposed dividend to FCA shareholders. The sources did not elaborate on the potential size of a Renault payout. The merger plan presented on Monday would see the two carmakers acquired by a listed Dutch holding company whose ownership would be split equally between current FCA and Renault shareholders, after special dividend payments. FCA had proposed locating the combined group's operational head office in a neutral city, most likely London, but has now indicated readiness to base it in the greater Paris area, meeting a key French government demand, both sources said. The French government is also likely to be granted a seat on the board to reflect its 7.5 percent stake in the merged company, the people said. Nissan, whose matching 15 percent stake in its French alliance partner will also be diluted to 7.5 percent of the new group, receives a board seat under the plan unveiled on May 27.
