For sale is a 2006 Chrysler Sebring GTC Convertible. This car has only 40,000 original miles on it. I bought this car from a dealer that specializes in Theft Recovery vehicles. As I am told this car was stolen in New Jersey and later recovered. It does have a Rebuilt Salvage Title due to the fact that it was considered a total loss to the insurance company as they paid the previous owner off for the vehicle when it was stolen. I verified that in New Jersey it is standard policy to issue a "Salvage" title for stolen vehicles. The car passed a State inspection here in Michigan and as such the title was "Rebuilt". The car runs and drives like new. This was, and is, a non-smoker vehicle. The leather interior is clean and damage free (no dry rot or worn areas like you often get with leather). The air is ice cold and the transmission shifts smoothly. I bought the car with 31,000 miles on it and installed new tires on it (it still had the original tires on it but they were dry rotted and cracked pretty bad). The only other item that I have replaced is an 02 sensor. The convertible top is in perfect condition with no tears, rips or damage; it moves smoothly up and down (the original top boot is included with the car). The car is in excellent mechanical condition. The body has normal wear and tear with some minor dings and scratches as would be expected for a car of this age. The pictures may not show them clearly but there are a few very small, and minor, hail dents on the trunk lid (so minor that I didn't notice them when I was looking at the car originally). The car is located in Adrian, Michigan and can be seen locally by contacting me personally @ 517-918-7323. I can help arrange shipping of the car within 250 miles (only within the U.S., not into Canada). I am not including any type of warranty with this vehicle as it is sold as is. A $500 deposit is required via PayPal with 24 hours of purchase agreement. A Cashiers Check or Cash is required within 3 days of auction close and must be presented in person by the buyer or buyer's representative. Feel free to contact me with any questions. This car is for sale locally and may be removed at any time. Summer is here....drop the top!!

Mopar celebrates 50 years of the 426 Hemi
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Think of Chrysler performance and the names Mopar and Hemi are bound to come to mind. Chrysler and its Mopar performance parts division first introduced the original Hemi (so named for its hemispherical combustion chambers) back in 1951, celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2011. But it was thirteen years later - 50 years ago - that the Pentastar automaker rolled out the most iconic Hemi of them all: the Gen II 426.
The massive 7.0-liter V8 engine instantly became a muscle car icon and went on to become a favorite of racecar constructors. Two competition versions of the Gen II 426 Hemi were made: one for the track and one for the drag strip, and both went on to illustrious strings of victories. The race engine first debuted at the 1964 Daytona 500 where it powered Richard Petty's Plymouth to the checkered flag and on to the NASCAR championship.
Meanwhile on the drag strip, the Gen II 426 Race Hemi propelled Don Garlits past 200 miles per hour and down the quarter-mile in 7.78 seconds. Changes in NASCAR regulations meant that Chrysler devoted the engine to NHRA drag racing, and to this day the Gen II 426 Race Hemi is still used in Funny Car and Top Fuel dragsters.
Ram confirms Fiat Ducato vans to form new Promaster series for US
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Chrysler has officially confirmed that Ram will develop an all-new large van for the US market based on the Fiat Ducato. The commercial rig will go on sale in the third quarter of next year, joining the Ram C/V on the company's professional van line. Expect to see the Promaster face off against the Ford Transit and revised Chevrolet Express.
Chrysler is pretty skimpy on details when it comes to the Promaster, but it has said the vehicle will make use of "familiar Ram Truck styling cues." The van will reportedly also bow with powertrains targeted specifically at the North American market.
Chrysler and Ram made the announcement ahead of the LA Auto Show alongside news that the company will launch a new Ram commercial truck division.
Dodge Hellcat orders on hold due to 'unprecedented demand'
Sun, Mar 15 2015Want to get your hands on a 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger or Charger Hellcat to call your very own? We don't blame you, and you're not alone. According to Motor Authority and confirmed by a spokesperson from Chrysler, Dodge has gotten so many orders for its stable of Hellcats that it simply cannot keep up with demand: "Due to unprecedented demand for the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats, we are temporarily restricting orders while we validate current orders that are in the system." Put another way, if you're waiting for a Hellcat, your wait is likely to be a lot longer than you'd like. We've reached out to Chrysler to find out how long it might take for a new customer to get a new Hellcat, and we'll update if and when we hear back.
