Mechanically the engine and transmission are in excellent shape and condition. The interior is just as nice and leather has little or no wear at all. It looks New and entirely original. Everything on the Vehicle is in working condition including the power Top, This Vehicle is very powerful, yet very good on gas and for it's age, it is in excellent shape and condition. Tires are all matching and in excellent condition.  Has small dent on driver side door and small scratches on rear bumper (look on the pics)

This is also a 2 owner and an accident FREE Sebring. I will be glad to email the CARFAX report upon request.

This is a very nice and super clean Sebring! I personally drove it around town and on the highway and it runs VERY well. Engine feels smooth and strong, steering is centered and brakes are linear too! Mechanically, this Chrysler needs nothing for everything works as it should including cold A/C. The top is a week old, and the tires are in near new condition.

Cosmetically, this ragtop still shines well, body is straight and paint is all original. The interior is in very good shape for its years. The vehicle has some scuffs and blemishes here and there, but nothing alarming. The car comes with factory boot.

This Sebring was bought in 1998 with 11 miles on it in Clearwater, Florida. In 2008 it was sold to the Second Owner with 21k and then stayed 5 years in Hermitage, Pennsylvania garage kept and only driven in the summer time. In 2014 the Second Owner Traded-in the Sebring at Key Scales Ford in Leesburg, Florida and I bought it from them as a trade-in.

Overall, the car looks fantastic for being 16 years old!! This has been a 2-owner car all of its life and it certainly shows!! It’s been garage kept with maintenance performed according to manufacturer specifications and it’s CarFax certified with NO accidents, no odometer or title discrepancies and only owned in sunny Florida, which means NO RUST!! The Polar White paint shows stunning for a 16-year old vehicle! On the exterior there are only a few minor cosmetic issues: There are some rockchips below both headlights from routine highway driving. On the interior: it looks WELL ABOVE AVERAGE for the car’s age and smells like new! the interior shows very nicely! There are absolutely NO cracks on the interior wood trim, NO cracks in the dash pad and the car has always been a nonsmoker! As far as the electronics,  EVERYTHING IS IN WORKING ORDER!! the A/C blows cold on all speeds, all windows, and door locks work perfect.

Chrysler recalling nearly half a million vehicles with active head restraints

Thu, 04 Jul 2013

Chrysler has announced that it will recall roughly 490,000 vehicles around the globe due to a potential active head-restraint problem. The problem is being blamed on "potentially faulty microcontrollers" that may keep the vehicles' anti-whiplash active safety feature from working properly. Chrysler says it has no knowledge of any accidents or injuries related to the issue. Models covered under the recall include the 2011-2013 Chrysler Sebring, 200 (shown) and Dodge Avenger models, along with 2011-2013 Jeep Liberty and 2011-2012 Dodge Nitro SUVs.
Interestingly, the Pentastar notes that the faulty part came from an (unnamed) supplier who furnished the parts in the wake of Japan's 2011 earthquake and tsunami, natural disasters which decimated the world's supply of microcontrollers.
Chrysler says of those nearly half a million vehicles affected, around 442,000 of them reside in the US, with an additional 25,000 in Canada and 10,000 units in Mexico. A further 12,000 models were shipped beyond the NAFTA region. The Auburn Hills automaker will begin sending out recall notices shortly, and technicians will upgrade the system software or replace the microcontroller as necessary at no cost to owners.

Poor Chrysler 200 sales blamed for 1,420 layoffs in Sterling Heights

Wed, Apr 6 2016

FCA will indefinitely lay off a total of 1,420 workers from its Sterling Heights Assembly and Stamping plants on July 5, according to The Detroit News. This decision will cut a 1,300-person shift that builds the Chrysler 200, and it will also affect 120 people who stamp the sedan's components. The company's statement said the decision would "better align production with demand." FCA plans to give these folks open full-time positions as they become available. Chrysler 200 sales are down 63 percent to just under 18,000 units so far in 2016. After the cuts, there will still be one shift to build the 200, but even then the model won't have much of a future. In January, CEO Sergio Marchionne announced that FCA would discontinue production of the 200 and Dodge Dart because customers were no longer interested in small sedans. All of the roughly 3,000 hourly workers at Sterling Heights have been on a temporary layoff since February 1, according to The Detroit News. They don't go back to work until next week. United Auto Workers Vice President Norwood Jewell released a statement saying that while the "shift reduction at Sterling Heights Assembly is unfortunate, it is not unexpected." However, he was fairly upbeat about the cuts because FCA plans to increase production capacity for trucks and SUVs. "I believe that in the long term this move will be a positive one for our members and the company," he said. During last year's labor negotiations, the UAW's deal reportedly included an agreement for FCA to move 200 and Dodge Dart production to Toluca, Mexico, but the company promised to build the Ram 1500 at Sterling Heights Assembly. FCA spokesperson Jodi Tinson gave no comment about future vehicles at the factory when asked by Autoblog. Related Video: Statement Regarding Indefinite Layoffs at SHAP In order to better align production with demand at its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, FCA US notified the State of Michigan, the City of Sterling Heights and the UAW today that it intends to return the plant to a one shift operation, beginning July 5. The Company will place indefinitely laid off employees in open full-time positions as they become available within the Detroit labor market based on seniority. A Statement from UAW Vice President Norwood Jewell on FCA Announcement about Sterling Heights Assembly: While today's announcement of a shift reduction at Sterling Heights Assembly is unfortunate, it is not unexpected.

President Trump to visit Michigan on Wednesday to attend auto-related event

Mon, Mar 13 2017

President Trump will visit the Detroit area on Wednesday for the first time since taking office, the Detroit News reports this morning, to meet with officials of automakers, suppliers and unions, and to attend a rally of autoworkers. Trump might use the event to announce his intentions to roll back fuel-economy standards for cars and trucks. The automakers agreed to the standards, which set a goal of a fleet average 54.5 miles per gallon by the year 2025, under President Obama, but they have lobbied Trump to repeal them. "This is a continuation of a dialogue with the auto industry leaders, and also going back and reconnecting with a lot of the people who elected him," Chris Liddell told the News. Liddell is former chief financial officer of General Motors and now assistant to the president for strategic initiatives at the White House. Trump might also use Wednesday's visit to advocate the House Republicans' proposed replacement for the Affordable Care Act. Later Wednesday, he will attend a campaign-style rally in Nashville, and White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has said the president intends to hit the road to sell the American public on the Obamacare replacement plan. The auto industry has been high on Trump's agenda - and a focus of his rhetoric to return manufacturing jobs and facilities to the United States. During his first week in office, Trump met privately at the White House with the CEOs of Ford, GM and Fiat Chrysler, and GM CEO and Chairman Mary Barra and Ford CEO Mark Fields are members of Trump economic advisory groups. He has criticized Ford and GM for making cars in Mexico and took credit when Ford scrapped plans for a new plant there.
