Please look at my feedback. Amongst other things I have sold there have been 3 cars and the new owners were not only extremely satisfied but actually drove their cars off and until now they are very happy. Up for sale is My 2005 Pt cruiser with only 41,xxx. i pruchased this car as my daily driver and it is full of surprises. Someone will be very happy as there is no maintainance needed for at least 2 years. Due to unforseen house repairs I have to let it go. Aside from its low milage, here is a breakdown of what has been recently done. I have always believed if you take care of your car the car will take care of you. Hence, a list of things done less than 2 months ago: New ceramic brakes and rotors New Battery tune up including pcv valve One of the rear struts had a small leak so I decided to replace them both. Brand new Windshield (other one had a small crack the size of a quarter and it was bothering me so I decided to put a new one) New tires all around Complete radiator flush, A/c freon removed to ensure proper operation (air conditioners are known to have humidity accumulation hence affecting performance) Outside Paint is shiny and though there might be a few nicks here and there they are far less than many newer convertibles I have seen and compared in order to come p with the right price for this one. Rims are in incredible shape. Concertible top isin amazing shape and with the touch of a button it flawlessly folds down and up with ease. Interior Definatelly 8/10. No rips or burns in any of the seats. There are no scratches on the dash, door panels and its black/dark gray combination is in perfect harmony. Cd player works flawlessly and rear speakers where upgraded for better sound. Please ask any and all questions prior to buying car. a $500 non refundable deposit to be made via paypal and remainding to be paid within the following seven days. Ask yourself this question, if I buy a used car, how much will I have to spend in addition to the price in maintanace and other hidden "surprises". See my feedback and trust as others have. I will add pictures by weds. Anyone close to me is encouraged to have the car inspected by a mechanic. If you are looking for a fun to drive, gas saver and stylish "whip" you have just found it. Please be aware that there are 2 accidents listed. The cars has been proffesionally restored. First accident was a Supereficial hit to the front left, Things replaced were the passenger side fender and hood. No other things needed aside from the airbags which were purchased brand new, Second accident listed which was recent,a ford expedition backed into the front. Ironically, same passenger fender was replaced alomg with thr front bumper cover. Again, no airbag deployment and it was profeddionally repaired. No other damage aside from that and it was professionally refinished and all parts were and I insieted on original parts. No aftermarket parts aside from that where needed. Not even a single damage to either to the radiatorm support as they are all original from when the car was built and nothing was 'REPAIRED OR STRIGHTENED as this was minimal damage. Rest assured This car is in more than tip top shape, The price accepted will come with a six month warranty to engine and transmission. I can easily attwst to this as the car is merely still in the "break in period" with its baby 41,xxx miles.Warranty will be honored in the try state area and repaires required will be performed at my mechanics shop.No hidden surprices. I am so assured this car will give you years of faithful service free of defects. The car drives in amazing smothness with all lines accentuating the styleof this little whip as if it came out from the showroom. Againg take care of the car and the car willt take care of you. Just keep up with the oil changes as you need nothing else as far as maintainace is concerned. Trust my feedback as others have and not only willyou be impressed but will maybe buy another car as one of my customers have. I am relisting the car due to the fact I had acceped an offer but it is cearly stated that a deposit is to be made within the first 24hrs at auctions end and the nuter did not adhere to the clearly stated instructions/. This is a real deal, especially considering the maintainace free part of all the new parts above listed. I would not habe spend the money I did If the car was not worth it. My looss willbe yout gain. again please aks any ans all questions prior to buying the car. I am in need of cash for house repairs and is the only reason for letting it go....Do not waste my time with unreasonable offers as it insults my feedback which I have fought very hard to stride for 100% satisfaction.

The Plug-In Hybrid Chrysler Pacifica | Translogic 212
Thu, Dec 15 2016Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably know that minivans have a bit of a rep for being uncool. The poor minivan has been relegated to that of a tool solely intended to get kids to and from soccer games. Here at Autoblog, we're already proponents of the minivan for its incredibly utility and under-the-radar, nearly hipster-like ironic coolness. This year, the good folks at Chrysler are working to change the soccer-mom stereotype by giving its people-hauler a much needed injection of style, lots of new tech, and a plug-in hybrid option in the form of the new Pacifica. Translogic host Jonathon Buckley sat down with Matt McAlear, Senior Manager of Chrysler Brand Product Marketing to discuss how Chrysler went from inventing the segment all the way back in 1984 to reinventing it in 2016. Matt explains that not only is the Pacifica "...the first hybrid in the minivan segment," but it's alsm one of the most functional hybrids available. With room for 7 passengers plus cargo and 30 miles of all-electric range, the features on the van are nothing to scoff at. After the chat, Bucko takes the minivan to someone who will be able to appreciate it even more than him, a mom of two. Why this could be the perfect time for Apple to make a car play
Fri, Aug 31 2018While the automotive and technology worlds have been pouring billions into autonomous vehicles (AVs) and preparing to bring them to market soon as shared robo-taxis, Apple has mostly sat on the sidelines. Of course, Apple is the last company to ever make its intentions known, and the super-secret tech cult giant hasn't been totally out of the AV game based on the clues that have slipped out of its Cupertino, Calif., citadel over the past few years. Related: Apple self-driving cars are real — one was just in an accident News first broke in 2015 that it had assembled an automotive development team, in part by poaching high-profile talent from car companies, to work on a top-secret self-driving vehicle project code-named Titan. (Thank you very much, Nissan.) Apple also subsequently broke cover by making inquiries into using a Northern California AV testing facility and receiving a permit to test AVs on public roads in California. But then as the AV race started to heat up in the last few years, Apple reportedly began scaling back its car activities by downsizing team Titan. More recently, Apple's car project has shown signs of life with the hiring a high-level engineer away from Waymo and luring one Tesla's top engineers and a former employee back to Apple. It also inked a deal with Volkswagen to provide a technology platform and software to convert the automaker's new T6 Transporter vans into autonomous shuttles for employees at tech company's new campus. That is a far cry from giving rides to Wal-Mart shoppers, like Waymo is doing as part of its AV testing in Phoenix. But this could be the perfect time for Apple to enter the AV market now that ride-sharing is reaching critical mass and automakers and others are planning to deploy fleets of robo-taxis. Apple could easily establish a niche as a high-end ride-sharing service – and charge a premium – given its cult-like brand loyalty and design savvy. The growth of car subscription models could also play in Apple's favor since is already has many people hooked on paying for phones in monthly installments – and eager to upgrade when a new and better model becomes available. To achieve this, some believe Apple will fulfill co-founder and CEO Steve Job's dream of building a car. And as the world's first and only $1 trillion company it's sitting on a mountain of cash that certainly gives it the means. But other tech darlings like Tesla and Google have discovered how difficult it can be to build cars at scale.
Junkyard 1983 Dodge Rampage has Franco-American roots
Mon, Jun 20 2016Lee Iacocca and the K-Cars get most of the credit for saving Chrysler after the company's 1979 bailout by the US government, but the success of the Simca-derived Omnirizon platform was a large, if overlooked, component of Chrysler's early-1980s resurgence. The Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon were sold in the United States for the 1978 through 1990 model years, and variants included the 1983-1987 Dodge Charger and the Rampage, this well-worn example of which I spotted in a Denver self-service wrecking yard last week. The early Omnirizons came with a Volkswagen-sourced 1.7-liter engine, but all of the Rampage pickups (and their near-identical Plymouth Scamp siblings) came from the factory with a 2.2-liter K-Car engine making 96 horses. This truck has a 4-speed manual transmission, which would have made it reasonably quick by Malaise Era standards. This one had plenty of body filler and rust, even before the crash that sent it on that final tow-truck ride to this place, so it wouldn't have been worth restoring. Still, we can hope that some of its parts will live on in other L-body trucks.
