1977 Chrysler New Yorker. ( Low Mileage ) on 2040-cars
Houston, Texas, United States
Engine:440
Drive Type: rwd
Make: Chrysler
Mileage: 8,300
Model: New Yorker
Trim: leather
Options: Leather Seats
Power Options: Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats
Owned by me since the year 2000.
Actual mileage about 8,300 miles. Has 440 motor. The air conditioner rubber hose has a leak. Will cool when charged.
Heater hose capped off by me, I thought it might have a heater core leak, not positive.
Brakes have been replaced. Fuel gauge does not work.
This car does not have body side trim, somewhat unusual for these cars. No side moulding makes for a cleaner look in my opinion.
Car has been garaged since I have owned it, and appears to have been garage most if not always by previous owner.
The top of dash pad has darkened a little since I have owned it. This could not have been caused by the sun unless it was from a few hours when I diplayed it a a car show.
Last 4-5 years, car has been sealed inside of a vinyl car jacket and with a new dust free California car cover under it. The covers along are worth about $ 600.00 and are included with the car.
Car started now and then and driven some. Selling because I do not drive it enough to justify paying storge for it,thousands, and because of failing health.
If you have feedback less than 50, you need to contact me or your bid will be deleated.
Actually Any serious bidder that does not contact me before auction end will have bid deleated.

MotorWeek reviews '83 American Motors lineup
Wed, Mar 18 2015The 30th anniversary of American Motors' 1987 sale to Chrysler by Renault is just a few years away. AMC is long dead, but for its latest peek in the archives, MotorWeek winds back the clock to somewhat happier times. Take a look at the entire AMC lineup from 1983, including its models from Jeep and Renault. The Jeeps, and to a lesser extent, the AMC Eagle, enjoy a cult following today, but it's amazing how many of these other vehicles are now practically forgotten. Even the big debut in '83 of the Renault Alliance is largely ignored. Although with a ludicrous amount of body roll and a 55-horsepower 1.4-liter engine, it's probably rightly buried. Stellantis not looking for further mergers, including with Renault
Mon, Feb 5 2024MILAN — Stellantis Chairman John Elkann on Monday denied the carmaker was hatching merger plans, responding to press speculation about a possible French-led tie-up with rival Renault. Elkann said that the Peugeot owner, the world's third largest carmaker by sales, was focused on the execution of its long-term business plan. "There is no plan under consideration regarding merger operations with other manufacturers," said Elkann, who also heads Exor, the Agnelli family holding company that is the largest single shareholder in Stellantis. After abandoning the Russian market, at the time its second largest after France, and reducing the scope of its global cooperation with Nissan, Renault has been seen as a potential M&A target. Speculation intensified after an electric vehicle market slowdown forced it last week to cancel IPO plans for its EV and software unit Ampere. Its market cap remains stubbornly low at little over 10 billion euros ($10.8 billion) despite a financial recovery over the past few years. Stellantis, the product of a 2021 merger between France's PSA and Fiat Chrysler and one of the most profitable groups in the industry, has a market cap of more than 85 billion euros when unlisted shares are factored in. It has a 14 brand portfolio also including Citroen, Jeep, Opel and Alfa Romeo. NEWSPAPER REPORT Italian daily Il Messaggero had said on Sunday that the French government, which is Renault's largest shareholder and also has a stake in Stellantis, was studying plans for a merger between the two groups. A spokeswoman for Renault said on Monday the group did not comment on rumors. France's Finance Ministry had declined to comment on Sunday. Stellantis has crossed swords with the Italian government, which has accused it of acting against the national interest on occasions. Industry Minister Adolfo Urso last week raised the prospect of the Italian government taking a stake in Stellantis to help to balance the French influence. Renault shares pared gains after Elkann's comments to stand 1.2% higher by 1220 GMT, having initially risen more than 4%. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares, a Portuguese-national, last week said in an interview with Bloomberg that the group was "ready for any kind of consolidation" and that its job was to make sure that it would be "one of the winners". Analysts, however, question the rationale of a Stellantis-Renault merger, which would also expand the group's excess capacity in Europe.
