Original, unrestored, and one of the LONGEST cars ever on the road! Beautiful interior considering the age, no rips on the seats (but stitching is strained in one spot), intact and beautiful factory rubber mat with imperial emblem, imperial hubcaps, all emblems present (healthy chrome), carpet is in incredible shape, extra seat belts mounted above windows, and 98% rust free! (surface rust on the underside, and some slight crevice rust in a few of the seams, but no bubbles and no holes! Door bottoms are in beautiful condition,and all components work (power seats, windows, heater, etc.). The bad: the usual dings, scratches, and a few cracks in side marker, barn find, but a used driver - the odometer has likely flipped, giving it 120,000 mi., but the interior suggests it has not been used to 220.,000 mi. Some discoloration on the interior rear deck, and the headliner has begun to come loose in the rear driver corner. Vinyl top had a section under the back window that was replaced, and the trunk has been rubber-coated. Factory radio was replaced with a tape deck what looks like over ten years ago.
This car is 43 (model) years old and is in very impressive shape! Not many of these are left!

Fiat/PSA's dominance in small vans hangs up EU's merger approval
Mon, Jun 8 2020BRUSSELS — EU antitrust regulators are concerned about Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot / PSA's combined high market share in small vans and may require concessions to clear their $50 billion merger, people familiar with the matter said. The companies, which are seeking to create the world's fourth biggest carmaker, were told of the European Commission's concerns last week. If Fiat and PSA fail to dispel the European Commission's doubts in the next two days and subsequently decline to offer concessions by Wednesday, the deadline for doing so, the deal would face a four-month-long investigation. The EU competition enforcer, which has set a June 17 deadline for its preliminary review, declined to comment. Fiat was not immediately available for comment while PSA had no immediate comment. Hiving off overlapping businesses, usually a regulatory demand to ensure more competition, could prove tricky for the carmakers because of the technicalities. Fiat and PSA are looking to merge to help offset slowing demand and shoulder the cost of making cleaner vehicles to meet tougher emissions regulations. The deal puts under one roof the Italian carmaker's brands such as Fiat, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Maserati and the French company's Peugeot, Opel and DS. NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors

Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.
