2003 Ims Ramp Van Handicap Wheelchair Van. All Power Kneeling Ez Lock Must See on 2040-cars
Plainville, Connecticut, United States
This Premium Handicap Wheelchair conversion van is made by IMS Corporation. IMS is the leading conversion company to offer the lowered floor vans. The van has a 11" completely lowered floor, power sliding door, power ramp, and the kneeling system that lowers the van down several inches for easier entry. The van also has the EZ Lock system for faster and safer transport.
The van is the big brother "upgraded Dodge Caravan or Grand Caravan" with nicer features on the same platform. These vans are very popular because of the reliability, ease of operation, and fuel economy the larger more bulky and time consuming vans don't offer. This van is in amazing condition. It was always garaged, it was in Florida since new until it came to CT earlier this year. The van is Rust Free and the underside is very clean. That is very important as a good deal of these vans can have hidden rust you want to stay away from. This Florida van in the northeast is the perfect match for the new owner. The interior and exterior are both very clean, smoke free, and proves it was cared for. Drivability and driver feedback... driving down the road is excellent. Runs, drives, shifts and feels like new. There are no stories or issues here. It was just inspected by Ride Away as well. Expect exactly what you see in the photos as its a nice one! The van was purchased a year ago in Florida and was used for 9000 miles total. The van was purchased for $20,000 as well. Our buy it now is very low and i don't expect the van to last long so take advantage of the great deal. Bid with confidence! Thank you for viewing my auction and feel free to call me with any questions you may have. My cell is 860-299-6554, my name is Dean Again thank you and have a great day Not braun conversion, not bruno conversion, not entervan, toyota sienna, dodge caravan. mobility van. |

Chrysler UConnect wins AOL Autos Technology of the Year Award
Wed, 09 Jan 2013The first annual AOL Autos Technology of the Year Award has been won by Chrysler's upgraded UConnect system.
Over 35 entries were considered and narrowed down to six finalists in three categories: Connectivity, Telematics and Active Safety. The judges, which included editors from AOL Autos, Autoblog and Engadget, as well as a number of other auto and tech journalists and luminaries, chose UConnect over the MyFord Mobile app, Audi Connect with Google Maps, Cadillac CUE, Honda's LaneWatch technology and Nissan's Tire Pressure Alert and Refill System. Even readers who were polled on which technology should win chose UConnect.
AOL Autos Editor in Chief David Kiley remarked that Chrysler's UConnect deserved the first Technology of the Year Award not because of what it does, but for how UConnect performs every time it's used. Kiley went on to say UConnect works the way it's supposed to, fills a need and puts a smile on your face. By meeting those requirements, UConnect very much deserved AOL Auto's first Tech of the Year award.
Chrysler 100 hatchback caught cruising around Santa Monica
Thu, 21 Feb 2013A coming hatchback said to be called the Chrysler 100 has been caught on video traipsing around Santa Monica by Autoblog reader Zach Dillman. Still wearing the scrapyard assemblage of Alfa Romeo Giulietta body panels as it was when spy photographers began capturing it last summer, its arrival date is still a question mark: some outlets have reported that it will go on sale this year, others have said it won't be in showrooms until 2016.
In fact, quite a few questions remain. Based on Fiat's Compact US Wide (CUSW) platform that supports the Dodge Dart and expected to be about the same size, the 100 is thought to be a small premium hatchback that will be priced above the Dart and below the Chrysler 200, with the idea that it can challenge the Ford Focus and Hyunda Elantra at the value end and the Buick Verano and Acura ILX at the premium end. Word is that there will be no sedan version.
It looks like there'll be plenty of gewgaws inside, with buttons for Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning and a button to toggle the traction control.
Chrysler recalls AWD 300, Charger, Ram 1500 over ZF transmission
Tue, 24 Dec 2013What do the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Ram 1500 all have in common? Yes, they're all Chrysler products, and two of them are based on the same platform. And we're sure you could find more similarities between them all, but the common trait we're looking at here is that, while they all come standard in rear-drive form, they're also available with all-wheel drive. And it's the transmission in those models that's the subject of the latest recall notice issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The output shaft on the eight-speed automatic transmission supplied by ZF to Chrysler for the AWD versions of the 300, Charger and Ram 1500 is apparently prone to fracture. That in the end could leave the vehicle without power and could, according to the NHTSA investigation, increase the chance of a crash. The vehicle could also roll away if even if left in Park without the handbrake applied.
That's why Chrysler is calling in 4,194 examples of those three models from the 2013 model year. Dealers will be responsible for inspecting the transmissions and, where necessary, replace the entire unit. See the full recall notice below for all the details.
