2001 Town & Country 70k On Newer Motor & Trans ( No Reserve ) on 2040-cars
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States
First let me start off by saying I am very new to eBay and don't want to mislead anyone so please bear with me if I make any mistakes along the way. I am the owner and operator of a taxi limousine company in the South Jersey area. And occasionally when I sell a high mileage limousine I get a car On a trade-in. This is what I have for sale:
Its a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country minivan with the 6 cylinder automatic 3.3 motor "that runs & drives great" it gets 23 mpg hi way. The previous Owner installed a newer motor and transmission done last year With only 70,000 mileage I have the "receipts" and a clean New Jersey Title. 211,000 miles on the Dashboard. The car runs and drives Great! and I would not hesitate driving this car cross country at this very moment. I used this minivan to transport luggage And drivers to and from all the airports. So all the maintenance has been done right and on time! This minivan is in very good condition. the appearance is clean And the paint is shiny. The interior is also clean and neat with no cuts, rips, or tears. Does not smell Musty or Is dirty. It's fully loaded everything works air conditioning is cold heat is hot all electrical functions work properly. Except for one of the power doors and a small exhaust leak at the front of the flex pipe about $50 to $100 job to weld does not affect anything of the driving condition just slightly loud. Overall this is a good safe reliable and dependable vehicle Runs and drives good shifts very smooth go straight down the road with a current good inspection and good tires. I'm really not sure what the car is worth? So it will be sold to the highest bidder at the end of auction? I am available any phone call or email questions 24 hours a day strictly because I am the owner operator of a limousine company. Please call 609-453-9775 daily till 9 PM or email me directly at Shorelimos@Gmail.com Thanks and happy bidding |

Hurricane Sandy cost automakers 15,000 vehicles, may have ruined up to 200k
Wed, 07 Nov 2012Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic storm in US history, and its total economic impact is just now coming into view. According to Automotive News, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda are set to scrap around 15,000 new vehicles ruined by the storm. Nissan alone accounts for about 40 percent of those, with 6,000 Nissan and Infiniti models deeded "un-saleable" due to damage. The company saw 56 dealerships shuttered due to the storm, but 51 of those have since reopened.
Toyota, meanwhile, had some 4,000 vehicles at its Newark port facility, and of those, 3,000 may be scrapped. An additional 825 were dealer inventory when they were ruined. Honda and Acura dealers are reportedly sending 3,440 vehicles to the salvage yard. By comparison, Chrysler weathered the storm fairly well with 825 units destroyed, while Hyundai suffered only 400 lost units and Kia scrapped around 200.
As you may recall, Fisker also suffered some losses, and Automotive News reports the manufacturer saw 320 Karma models damaged beyond repair. Ford and General Motors have yet to come up with estimates, and no automaker has commented on the full cost of replacing the vehicles.
Dodge Challenger spied exercising supercharged Hellcat Hemi V8
Wed, 23 Oct 2013One of the prime complaints against the Dodge Challenger is that, even in SRT8 guise, its 470 horsepower is responsible for hauling over 4,200 pounds of vehicle. For comparison, the 420 hp in the Ford Mustang GT only has to deal with 3,618 lbs. Things only get worse from there, as the higher-performance variants of both the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro are far more powerful than an SRT8 without adding on much heft.
So what is Chrysler to do? The correct answer is add a whole lot more grunt to its hefty two-door and even the odds. That's where the all-new Hellcat engine comes into play. We reported on this engine in May, and suggested that the Hellcat, a supercharged powerplant based on a 6.4-liter V8, would easily generate 500 to 570 hp and could likely arrive boasting more than 600 ponies.
Chrysler's ace in its sleeve has now been spied testing, with a number of Hellcat-equipped Challengers running the potent new engine both in more urbanized areas and under the sun of Death Valley. The hoods on these testers have been raised to accommodate the engine, and that camouflage over the fascias of these prototypes is there to hide a larger air intake. We also note what appears to be a new split grille under wraps. As for power output, our spies are now suggesting a Viper-equalling 640 hp from the Hellcat-equipped cars.
Marchionne now considering 'Plan B' partners for FCA merger
Thu, Jun 11 2015Okay Sergio, just stop. With the sting of rejection from General Motors CEO Mary Barra still fresh, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne is moving on and trying to find another automaker to merge with. FCA may not be giving up hope on a merger with GM, but that doesn't mean it isn't at least considering alternatives. Sergio's so-called "Plan Bs" include the Volkswagen Group, as well as smaller Asian outfits, like Mazda, Honda, Suzuki, and Hyundai. Bloomberg reports that France's beleaguered PSA Peugeot Citroen could as a sort of "fallback" option due to its relative lack of volume, an unidentified source claimed. There are, of course, problems with each option. According to Bloomberg, Volkswagen expects complete control of a company, but the Agnelli family, which holds a large portion of FCA stock, is loathe to relinquish its stake in the company. On top of that, VAG just isn't looking to make a deal right now. Mazda, meanwhile, is enjoying a new partnership with Toyota and Suzuki is partially owned by VW. Honda and Hyundai have never expressed any interest in a partnership with a western automaker. That kind of just leaves the French then, but even that remains a long shot. As Bloomberg tells it, PSA boss Carlos Tavares is still working on a turn-around plan, and would want at least another six months to execute before even considering a deal with FCA. And even then, Tavares hasn't given any indication that he's considering a pairing.
