2000 Chrysler Town And Country Lxi Mini Van Loaded Leather Cheap No Reserve on 2040-cars
Muncie, Indiana, United States
Up for auction is a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country LXI. I do not know much about this van. It was traded in to us by a local couple who had the van for a few years. They said it ran and drove out fine and never let them down. It is a rebuilt title and they advised they bought it that way a long time ago. I am not to worried about rebuilt titles if they have been on the road for a long time.
Options Leather Power seats power windows power locks on-board computer Runs, drives, shifts out well. It does not have any ticking or noises when idling. Engine sounds and appears strong. I know these vans are used as livery vehicles and last for hundreds of thousands of miles with the right maintenance. Dent in back hatch, appears it was hit in the front end as the alignment of some of the panels are so-so. It all looks good under the hood in terms of the engine accessories, cooling system. etc. Listing it as I see it! Spare wheel is on the vehicle and the original wheel and tire are in the trunk. I think there is a nail or something in it however I am not sure? Airbag light is on, guessing due to a sensor that never got replaced? What you see in the pictures is what you get. PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO PAY FOR THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY. Seriously please please I can not emphasize this enough. There are tons of people in need for cheaper vans like this. I do not want someone to miss out on opportunity by a buyer who can't afford to pay for it right away over someone who has the cash and needs a van now. Also please keep in mind this is 13 years old and a rebuilt title. It is not perfect, not a show queen and might require some maintenance down the road. Who knows? Or just drive her the way it is! Please note that the winning bid is binding and final. This vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is with no warranty expressed, written or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle and to have satisfied him/herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement. I have tried to accurately as possible, disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle. Any inspections are to be completed BEFORE the end of the sale, not afterward. Winning this auction does not entitle you to come inspect the car and decide if you want to buy it, but obligates you to complete the purchase. Any questions? Please please please ask before bidding. Call me or text Grant 317-654-0829 I am a licensed dealer and 7% sales tax will apply. No other fees. Good luck and happy bidding! |

Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
Sergio rethinks FCA-GM merger idea, dismisses critics
Sat, Dec 5 2015After many public overtures, Fiat Chrysler Automotive CEO Sergio Marchionne has claimed his company won't be making a hostile takeover bid for General Motors. This is despite widespread speculation that FCA's desire to merge was motivated by its allegedly dire situation. As one unnamed GM exec who spoke to Automotive News earlier this year put it, "Why should [GM] bail out FCA?" "We are not choking. We are in relatively decent shape," Marchionne told journalists attending an FCA shareholder meeting in Amsterdam, AN reports. "We have been publicly rebuffed, we have been rejected and you cannot force these things. I don't want to. At the moment, we have no intention to do anything hostile." Instead of focusing on merging with GM, or any other partners for that matter, FCA will refocus on implementing its ambitious five-year investment plan, which would see it dump $52 billion into its various brands, with a particular focus on Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Jeep. So far the attempt has largely been unsuccessful, especially as it relates to the Italian brands. Earlier this week, additional reports emerged that claimed Alfa was pushing back the Giulia and an unnamed CUV while reassigning resources to updated versions of the Giulietta and MiTo hatchbacks. This is not the first time we've heard about trouble for the Giulia, of course. For Masearti, though, it was the first we'd heard of delays for Alfieri sports car, which allegedly won't appear in 2016, as promised. We can expect a proper breakdown of FCA's adjusted plans when Marchionne and Company reveal an updated product slate next month. Ram confirms Fiat Ducato vans to form new Promaster series for US
Wed, 28 Nov 2012Chrysler has officially confirmed that Ram will develop an all-new large van for the US market based on the Fiat Ducato. The commercial rig will go on sale in the third quarter of next year, joining the Ram C/V on the company's professional van line. Expect to see the Promaster face off against the Ford Transit and revised Chevrolet Express.
Chrysler is pretty skimpy on details when it comes to the Promaster, but it has said the vehicle will make use of "familiar Ram Truck styling cues." The van will reportedly also bow with powertrains targeted specifically at the North American market.
Chrysler and Ram made the announcement ahead of the LA Auto Show alongside news that the company will launch a new Ram commercial truck division.
