Welcome to an incredible opportunity. If you have been searching for the cleanest, lowest mileage, best maintained 2005 Chrysler Sebring GTC Convertible on eBay, then you've found it. I would like to remind everyone what an incredible opportunity this is. This beautiful GTC Convertible has had only one, mature owner and has traveled only 13,195 miles...Yes folks, this is not a misprint...Only 13,000 original miles! Making this the ultimate, low mileage American-brand Convertible on eBay today. And you will want to own it.

The attractive exterior color is Stone White, and it has a complimenting Dark Taupe and Light Taupe TuTone Ultra-hide interior, with bucket seats, and comfortable seating for 4 adults. Needless to say, with only 13,000 original, sunny South Florida miles, this GTC is as clean as a whistle. The interior is like new....and I mean like brand new. And the exterior is spectacular. This is the most desirable color combination, and combined with a completely power, one-touch convertible top and GTC appearance package, this is one attractive automobile. It has been a Boca Raton, Florida vehicle since new. For those of you unfamiliar with Boca, that's where Jerry Seinfeld's parents lived (both on the show and in real life), and is considered by most as the Beverly Hills of the East Coast. Sunny and warm weather, flowing Palm Trees, Tropical climate, and incredibly vane people that take extremely good care of their vehicles, as use them often as an accessory, rather than transportation. Hence, the 13,000 original miles. This car was owned by a mature, older woman that lived in a Country Club community and basically just used it to go out and about in Boca, to all the fine restaurants, shopping an attractions. I hate to sound like a tour guide, but Boca Raton truly is incredible. Enough said about that, let's get back to this car. Extra, extra, extra clean is the best way to describe it.

We purchased this car having had only one owner. It was in completely original condition, and while the radial tires had plenty of treadlife remaining (about 70%), we went ahead and installed brand new, premium Goodyear Eagle LS Touring Radials all the way around. While the original tires were great shape, they were over 8 years old. Thus, we opted for these premium heat-and-speed rated radials. Same goes true for the battery. We installed a brand new, 5 year warranty battery as well as a new oil change (the oil did look great in the car, we just changed it anyways), new cabin filters, new air filter  and new wiper blades. Basically, this 13,000 mile, Florida beauty is the next best thing to buying a brand new car....except at around 25% of the cost. The undercarriage of this car looks just as amazing as the paint and interior (and convertible top). Remember folks, Florida owned and driven, and garage-kept since new. What that means is, no harsh winters, no harsh roads, no salt, no snow, no rust, or rot, no pothole-filled roads or rolling hills...you should be getting the picture. Aside from the obvious benefits of owning a Florida vehicle, your transmission and undercarriage will also thank you tremendously, as well.

Speaking of which, this Sebring GTC Convertible is powered by a 200 horsepower, 2.7 liter, Dual overhead cam, 24-valve V6 engine, combined with a 4-speed automatic transmission. It offers great performance as well as excellent fuel economy. A double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars and 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS makes this GTC stop, as well as it accelerates. A color-keyed rear spoiler completes the GTC's performance appearance, along with the factory 16-inch aluminum/alloy wheels.

Features include a Sport steering wheel, power convertible top, high-power Infinity audio system with CD and 150-watts of power, ice cold air conditioning, four-window down feature, power windows and door locks, rear defroster (for those of you in colder climates...Brrrr!), cruise control, Quad Halogen headlamps (with time delay), dual power electric mirrors, keyless remote entry and factory security system.

With elegant style, comfort and class-leading roominess, this GTC continues to be the best-selling convertible in the United States. It dominates the convertible market for good reason. Its simply the most stylish, elegant and affordable convertible on the road...period. And the Sebring GTC is the only convertible that comfortably seats four adults, while still offering premium amenities that convertible shoppers desire.

And here is your opportunity to save thousands, on what is basically a brand new car. This GTC runs and drives like new. The condition is superb, and it has an exclusive, one-owner Florida pedigree. What more could you possibly ask for?

Do not make the mistake of missing out on this rare find. We are offering it on auction for 7 days with an incredibly attractive Buy-It-Now price and only slightly lower reserve. If you are looking for one of the best deals on eBay for a premium convertible, in tip-top condition, then you have found it. Please feel free to call Steve at 561.283.9511 for a personal tour of this vehicle, or to purchase. We will gladly pick you up from Jacksonville International Airport, or assist with shipping anywhere within the Continental USA. Great color, condition, upkeep and style makes this an easy decision. Combined with this incredibly low price, this is truly a no-brainer. We list out vehicles to sell, and most sell with a simple phone call to our sales associate. Don't make the mistake of missing out on this great buy. Often times, people wait and miss out on a car, and then call us and ask us to find another, similar car. It just won't happen with this car. This is the lowest mileage Sebring GTC in the country, and this is basically a give-a-way price. Please look over our feedback, and bid with confidence. We do charge a nominal $299 dealer fee to each purchase. We have a clean and clear Florida title in-hand ready for an immediate transfer to one lucky individual. Good Luck to everyone bidding. Bid with Confidence and Bid to win!

Google-Chrysler autonomous project will include ride-sharing

Fri, Dec 16 2016

Google's new Waymo automobile-technology division might have just gotten "way mo" interesting, if you'll excuse the pun. Google, which this spring said it would work with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles on the development of a self-driving Chrysler minivan prototype, is adding a ride-sharing component to the project, Bloomberg News says, citing people familiar with the process. Representatives with both Fiat Chrysler and Google parent Alphabet Inc. declined to comment to Bloomberg. The ride-sharing service, which would compete with fellow San Francisco Bay Area-based companies such as Uber and Lyft, may debut as soon as the end of next year. Uber continues to move forward with its own self-driving efforts, launching self-driving tests (with engineers behind the wheel) in Pittsburgh in September and announcing this week that it would start tests in San Francisco. Those efforts may be delayed, however, as the state of California requires special permitting for testing out self-driving technology, and while the state has granted those permits to automakers such as General Motors, Tesla and Ford, it hasn't for Uber. Google and Chrysler said earlier this year that it would develop about 100 autonomous-driving Pacifica prototypes, but the ride-sharing service would require more of those vehicles to be built. Google's auto-technology operations, now called Waymo, have been headed by former Hyundai executive John Krafcik since September 2015. The division has reportedly brought in more executive-level personnel to speed things along. Meanwhile, Chrysler is slated to unveil an all-electric prototype version of the Pacifica at Las Vegas's annual CES show next month. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. 1950s car ads are timeless

Sat, Aug 8 2015

Usually around the Super Bowl a few great car commercials show up, but for the most part auto ads today pale in comparison to the '1950s and '60s. In an era with a truly viable magazine industry, automakers would take out gorgeous full-page spreads to get the word out about their wares. It was also a time when imports were just hitting the US, and there was a boom in sports cars. Car and Driver has gone for a dig into its advertising archives from when the book was known as Sports Cars Illustrated for a truly great viewing experience. You can imagine a young Don Draper mulling over the copy for these ads, but some of it is laughably quaint today. For example, there's a great image of a driver whipping an Austin-Healey 100 around a track. The italicized red text proudly proclaims, "From 0 to 60 MPH in 10.5 seconds." One of the beautiful parts about these advertisements is that you seldom see photos of the cars. Instead, there are often detailed drawings that slightly distort the vehicles' lines. With this approach, the Porsche 356 ends up looking far more curvaceous than in real life. Plus, the front end of the Chrysler 300 looks large enough to land a helicopter on. The whole thing is worth scrolling through. There are some fascinating glimpses into auto history like an ad for Abarth exhausts before the brand was just known for tuning Fiats. Chrysler IPO to be filed as early as this week

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

An initial public offering for the Chrysler Group could happen this week, following Sergio Marchionne's comments to Financial Times in London, according to a report from The Detroit News. Fiat, which owns 58.5 percent of Chrysler, has been in a battle with the UAW retiree healthcare trust over its minority stake in the company. While the automotive union recognizes its role as a temporary shareholder, the two couldn't come to an agreement on how the shares should be priced.
As Marchionne explained to FT, a Chrysler IPO allows the market, rather than the two competing sides, to determine the value of the shares. The public offering is a risky move, which could potentially hang one side out to dry - if the shares go high, it's bad news for Fiat, but if they go low, the UAW stands to lose. Regardless of where the stock prices go in an IPO, though, it's a move that's being supported by analysts, who are quick to cite Chrysler's near-constant growth and a product lineup that is getting healthier with each new introduction.
