Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States
Hi I'm the owner and operator of a small taxi/limousine company in the Atlantic City area. "On occasions when I sell one of my limousines I get a car on trade in this is one of them"
Up for sale is this 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Touring 4.0L. The car looks runs and drives absolutely beautiful. The color is a charcoaled Gray black metallic with a light gray silver interior with some chrome and wood trim accent "looks and feels very luxurious" it was just professionally cleaned by my staff who cleans our limousines. There is no dents no rust no scratches the paint is still shining and vibrant. The interior is very clean and neat with no musty smells "100% non-smoker" Overall this is a beautiful crossover vehicle the motor sounds good runs quiet with no visible leaks. Transmission shifts smooth and operates nicely. Muffler is quiet it drive straight down the road with no pulling brakes feel good and firm... The car is fully equipped everything seems to work with the exception of the right and left electronic mirrors do not operate? Could be a fuse? I will have one of my mechanics look into it on Monday. The air-conditioning blows cool "not cold" I'm sure it's just Freon, that will also be addressed on Monday. There are three brand-new Goodyear tires with Less then 5000 miles on them. There is one good used Continental tire that I put on myself with approximately 10,000 miles. There are 2 Chrome Center caps missing that I ordered on Thursday from a local Chrysler dealership. They were like $40 each and yet again they will be in on Monday. I'm very new to eBay and I'm trying to describe the vehicle as honest as possible If you need further information please feel free to call me at 609-453-9775 daily till 9:PM. Marchionne says the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dart were terrible investments for FCA
Mon, Jan 9 2017In a press conference during the Detroit Auto Show, Sergio Marchionne was quite candid about why the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dart were discontinued altogether without replacement. He essentially said they weren't worth the trouble. "I can tell you right now that both the Chrysler 200 and the Dodge Dart, as great products as they were, were the least financially rewarding enterprises that we've carried out inside FCA in the last eight years," Marchionne said. "I don't know one investment that was as bad as these two were." Marchionne was responding to a question about whether he felt the company's shift toward trucks and SUVs and sacrifice in sedan development was shortsighted. Marchionne said he felt that the market would likely continue to be strong for trucks and SUVs, and that the sedan market requires enormous investment that might not pay off. He used the 200 and Dart as examples. When we tried out the 200 and the Dart, we had mixed feelings. We enjoyed the 200's potent V6, pleasant interior, and solid handling. However, it was lacking in space (especially in the rear seat area), and doesn't drive any better than the top vehicles in the midsize sedan class. As for the Dart, it was fairly roomy, and had great infotainment thanks to Uconnect, but lackluster handling and a surprising amount of weight left it only average. With that in mind, it's probably not a bad idea to get rid of the 200 and Dart. The sedan segment is shrinking, and FCA can only afford to invest in areas where it can be a class-leader. Next Jeep Wrangler to get hybrid option?
Wed, Jan 21 2015This may the year a Jeep hybrid is officially announced. Really. The Chrysler division may finally be making plans for its first gas-electric powertrain to help boost the group's fuel economy, says UK's Auto Express, citing Mike Manley, CEO of FCA's Jeep division. The guinea pig of sorts may be the Wrangler, which moved almost a quarter-million units in the US last year. The Wrangler could get a hybrid drivetrain by the 2017 model year, as Jeep executives look to maintain the model's feel and torque while boosting its fuel economy. The Wrangler gets a pretty paltry 18 miles per gallon combined out of its six-cylinder mill, so the bar's set pretty low. Of course, we've heard this talk before. In late 2013, Chrysler Asia-Pacific product planning manager Steve Bartoli told Australia's Drive that a Jeep hybrid was pretty much inevitable, though not much has been mentioned since. FCA could use all the help it can get in the fuel economy department. The group brought up the rear among automakers when it came to fuel efficiency, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said in its EPA Trends report released last October. The FCA models combined for a 21.1 miles per gallon average for the 2014 model year, compared to the 24.2 mpg overall industry average. The group's only electric vehicle in the US is the low-volume Fiat 500e, though the company may start selling a plug-in hybrid version of its Chrysler Town & Country by the end of the year. Marchionne open to combination with Ford or GM
Fri, Mar 13 2015At the depths of the auto industry implosion, there was widely reported talk that General Motors and Chrysler would be merged into a mighty import-beating behemoth. While such notions clearly never materialized, that doesn't mean the idea is dead. In fact, FCA boss Sergio Marchionne still welcomes the idea of a partnership with either GM or Ford. He responded positively to the idea, calling it "technically feasible," when asked about it at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Automotive News reports. "There's bantering that goes on all the time," Marchionne told AN, before quashing suspicions that a plan was in the works by adding that "nothing substantive" was going on. Our favorite black sweater enthusiast isn't quite as interested in the idea of teaming with a foreign manufacturer like PSA Peugeot Citroen, or in the rumored tie-up with Volkswagen, though. That is a shame, particularly in regards to Marchionne's shut down of a partnership with the French, although it isn't necessarily surprising – FCA already consists of eight automakers, and as Sergio told AN, there's really nothing at PSA that could help the company out. What are your thoughts? Is there an obvious project or segment that would benefit from an FCA partnership with Ford or GM? Have your say in Comments.
