2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser with 165132 miles. These miles will be different if you buy because I am using this vehicle for work 5 days a week. There are no mechanical problems, the car runs great, 5 speed manual transmission. I have kept up the maintenance and its doing good. I am the original buyer/owner. I bought the car in Temecula CA new. The radio/CD player are not standard, I bought new ones: Kenwood stereo system. It is a cherry red exterior and a grey interior. Tilt steering wheel, all the gauges work. Power windows. I don't know why, but the driver side REAR window does not go down and the passenger side REAR door does not open from the inside. Yes, the child lock is in the right position. The front bumper is coming off and is being held on now with duct tape. There are 2 dents: 1st one in on the hood and is not very noticeable. The 2nd one is between the right side rear door and the hatchback and is noticeable. My power steering is out, my mechanic said it was most likely the pump to the power steering system thats out. There are various little scratches and dings, and paint chips on the car but there not that bad in my opinion. The vanity mirror on the driver side fell off but I still have it.This is a great car for someone with the money to fix a few things, and a great first car for someone.
If you are interested, the sale will be final, no returns or refunds. I have represented this car truthfully.
The asking price is $3000.00 but am willing to get best offer. I have looked at other listings and for the same year, but in good shape, they have been selling for 8-11k. I need a new car for work and just a change.
I will need the sale to be in cash or money order. No checks or credit cards.
Buyer will need to take care of the pink slip. I have it and will sign over to you on payment.
I need to have the pick up and payment of vehicle on a Friday evening after 6:30pm, or a Saturday morning. I need this to be able to purchase a car for myself on Saturday as this is the only car I have.

Watch the mechanical symphony of the Chrysler 200 build process

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

For those of you who can't get enough of the 2015 Chrysler 200, The Pentastar put together a short video following its new sedan down the line at its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. As with the best new-baby albums, you'll see it take its first bath, be doted on by family members, put on its first pair of shoes and get all dressed up for an introduction to the world.
The only thing missing are its first words. You can follow it down the line in the video below.

Detroit Three autoworkers could get huge bonuses

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

For a long time, being a line worker for one of the Detroit Three has meant living with an uncertain future. With the health of American automakers on the rise, though, things are also starting to look up for the men and women building the cars. The latest sign that things aren't bad? Big profit-sharing checks.
According to The Detroit News, Ford, General Motors and Chrysler could end up paying over $800 million to 130,000 workers as part of a profit-sharing plan. According to The News, the economic impact of these profits in Michigan alone could exceed $400 million, besting the NFL's Super Bowl, MLB's All-Star Game and the NHL's Winter Classic for their economic impact.
This is the third straight year the Detroit Three have issued profit-sharing checks to UAW employees, and for many workers, the checks are as close as they'll get to a raise, due to the most recent contract between the union and the manufacturers. On average, employees at GM and Ford receive $1 for every $1 million in North American (not just the US) pre-tax profits. Chrysler, meanwhile, gets a similar deal, although the Auburn Hills-based company calculates profit sharing using 85 percent of the brand's global profits.

Marchionne uses racial epithet to describe what must power future Alfa Romeo models

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Sergio Marchionne and his Fiat empire have a lot riding on the US return of the Alfa Romeo brand. The endeavor has been in progress for what feels like a lifetime - certainly for as long as Fiat has had the Chrysler brand under its Italian wing.
It's not surprising that Fiat CEO Marchionne needs a perfect first Alfa to mark a return to America. And here's where things get dicey. Nobody would argue with Marchionne's insistence that Alfa Romeo's be powered by Italian engines - as Marchionne himself is quoted to have said at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, "There are some things that are well done in Italy."
If not what he said, then, it's how he said it that has eyebrows raised. "I cannot come up with a schlock product, I just won't. I won't put an American engine into that car. With all due respect to my American friends, it needs to be a wop engine." Wait, what's that?
