Up for auction is my 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Edition. It has 103,690 miles, I've driven from home to work in this vehicle only, I took great care of it. The recent work I had done on this was the radiator fan module gave out, so I replaced that which was $159.99 for the part OEM, plus $167.00 for installation, new rear shocks & struts which was a grand total of $310.45 for OEM parts & installation, I put new brakes on the front which was $100.00 for brakes and installation. The only issue I'm having now is the front driver window and passenger window do not roll down, was told the power switch needs to be replaced. This car has no dents, scratches. Its an automatic with leather seats, I love this car but I got a new car to drive to work and back home, so this car has been sitting for the past 2 days, its always been garaged, runs & drives great, would trust this car to drive anywhere I needed it to go.
The tires are not bad on it, they have about another 20,000 miles or less left, I have my first child on the way, so it's never had children inside of it. I am apart of the National Guard, so I've only had my uniform, duffle bag, and maybe some groceries, no tears in the seats, the interior is pretty near excellent, but that is my own opinion. I had the car detailed and put on my cousins dealership lot where I do have it currently have it listed for sale, so with that said, I do reserve the right to end the auction without notice. I hope that I provided enough information for all interested bidders on my vehicle. If vehicle does sell via Ebay, I can hold vehicle for as long as buyer needs in order to pick up. I have no way of providing transport, but I would suggest uship. I do require local pickup only, unless buyer makes other arrangements. Thanks and good luck bidding |

40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
Chrysler and Fiat offering $1,000 rebates to VW owners as Marchionne gets tough
Mon, 10 Dec 2012The throw-down between Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne and Volkswagen has heated up in earnest. According to Bloomberg, Fiat and Chrysler are now offering current Volkswagen owners in the US $1,000 rebates to trade in their ride. It's the latest in a series of shots Marchionne has taken at his German rival. As you may recall, the Fiat executive entered into a spat with Volkwagen board chairman Ferdinand Piëch and CEO Martin Winterkorn in October after the duo called for Marchionne's resignation from presidency of the European Automotive Manufacturers Association (AECA). At the time, the Volkswagen executives were quoted as saying Fiat would not survive the European economic downturn.
In response, Marchionne called the German executives "reprehensible," and accused Volkswagen of using a pricing strategy that has created created a "bloodbath" in the EU. Volkswagen has taken to steep discounting to carve out ever-larger slices of market share in Europe, but the company has a much smaller foothold in the US. Marchionne may be trying to hit Volkswagen where the manufacturer is weakest with the new Fiat new incentive program.
Late last week, the Fiat executive was voted to a second term as ACEA president.
Ralph Gilles responds to Dodge rumors, says brand is 'here to stay'
Fri, 12 Jul 2013This is why we love Ralph Gilles. While in Italy hanging out with a group of Viper Club members in Europe, the SRT boss took the time to respond to a question directed at him on Instagram in regards to the future of Dodge.
Recent reports have painted a bleak picture for Dodge, but Gilles defended Chrysler's full-line brand by stating that the rumors are, "all rumors, Dodge is here to stay! It may get more focused going forward but not killed!" The idea of a "more focused" Dodge brand could lend some credibility to reports that the Grand Caravan and Durango are on their way out, which would leave Dodge solely as a car, or car-based, automaker.
