1966 Chrysler Newport 4 Door Sedan 71,000 Original Miles on 2040-cars
Princeton, Illinois, United States
I have for sale 1966 Chrysler Newport 4 door sedan. 71,000 original miles, automatic, air, cruise, sentinel, tilt/telescopic, etc. Car needs some restoration, I have had in my possession about 5 years. Saved it from a demo derby. Has new aluminized exhaust, new carb, gas tank cleaned and new lines. Does need brakes. New wheel cylinder's and hoses included. Undercarriage is in great condition. Body itself is in great condition, with alittle rust in the rear quarters. Been sitting in garage, only start it up. Does need some body work and paint. Glass all good. Have never drove on road because of brakes. Starts up with no ticks. This car has a lot of rare options for a Newport. Interior is pretty nice, with only needing headliner and carpet, floors solid. Seats in good to great condition. Headliner still intact, but has a mouse hole. Was going to restore, but really a Cadillac/Buick lover, and just don't want to spend the money on, but don't want to see it demo'd either. Call me at 815-447-2058 for more information. Located in north central Illinois. May take a trade. Have listed on other sites, so reserve the right to end auction early. No Warranty of any kind on this car. Do Not pay through PayPal. Check or Money order non-refundable in my hands 48 hours after auction ends. Pickup can be discussed

Merged Fiat-Chrysler HQ will be in London
Fri, 09 May 2014You won't be seeing Sergio Marchionne in his famous sweaters running day-to-day operations of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from Michigan. Although, he won't be doing it from Italy, either. The FCA CEO recently announced that the company's corporate headquarters would be located in London.
"Headquarters will be in London. It's clear that group executive functions, the board, my office, some of my functions, need to operate out of London, but that doesn't mean that I'm giving up my operational responsibilities of the US," said Marchionne to Automotive News at a press conference.
When the creation of FCA was announced, the company said its tax domicile would be in the United Kingdom. But it gave no specific location at that time. The business is still keeping most of the details under wraps.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years
Tue, 06 May 2014Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

Detroit's new emergency city manager worked on Chrysler bankruptcy [w/video]
Fri, 15 Mar 2013
Kevyn Orr, the new emergency city manager of Detroit, has a history with one of Michigan's most famous residents: Chrysler. Governor Rick Snyder (at right) appointed Orr to the position yesterday with the belief that Detroit needs outside assistance to right the city's mounting financial woes. Orr (at left), a partner with the Jones Day law firm, will begin work on March 25 and receive $275,000 a year for his work. While state officials believe the new city manager will be able to complete his duties in 18 months, the contract is technically open-ended.
The 54-year-old attorney helped steer Chrysler through its 2009 bankruptcy, earning $700 per hour for his efforts. He was also instrumental in convincing the courts to allow Chrysler to shutter 789 dealerships in a single month. Orr says he's aware that his efforts won't have made him any friends in Southern Michigan.
