1965 NEWPORT 2 DR HARDTOP, 383,AUTO,POWER BRAKES,POWER STEERING. A rare opportunity to own one of the iconic land yachts of the sixties! This car still wears its original paint and presents very well. It runs and drives beautifully. You can't get into the classic car hobby for less! There aren't many cars you can get into at this price that are presentable and driveable. The brakes have been upgraded with a new dual master cylinder and new wheel cylinders. The tires while having excellent tread are showing signs of dry rot and i would recommend they be replaced. The fuel guage needle doesn't show , so I suspect the guage would need to be disassembled to repair. The engine runs strong, no smoking, no ticking , no knocking, runs real smooth.New late model starter. Rust is minimal, the front floor pans need to be repaired (easy fix), small perforations on quarter panels behind rear wheels. Wheel skirts are solid and work. There is an aftermarket radio and amp installed and I do not have the original. Right 1/4 panel and door dented. This is a no reserve auction so bid and buy!

Chrysler recalls 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks
Sat, 09 Nov 2013Chrysler has announced that it will issue three separate recalls that will cover as many as 1.2 million Ram pickup trucks for "steering-system tie rods that may have been misaligned during assembly or steering-system service." The vast majority of these trucks were sold in the United States, though some trucks in Mexico, Canada or overseas will be called in, as well.
The largest of the three recalls covers an estimated 842,400 model-year 2003-2008 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. Two smaller campaigns will bring 294,000 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, chassis cabs and 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 Mega Cabs; plus 43,500 model-year 2008-2012 Ram 4500 and 5500 4x4 chassis cabs into the dealer to be checked and repaired if necessary.
This is a very large recall, and Chrysler says it is "casting the net wider than necessary to identify those vehicles that require repair." The automaker estimates that "as many as 726,000 may not need repair."
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles gets officially official this Sunday
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Want a chunk of the new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles? Shares of the newly joined (technically) Dutch automaker will begin trading on Monday on the New York Stock Exchange. The company itself will become a single entity on Sunday.
According to The Detroit Free Press, the new FCA will be the world's seventh largest company after Fiat shareholders' chance to oppose the merger expired on October 4. To prevent the merger, shareholders would have needed to exchange at least 500 million euros in shares for cash.
On Monday, current shareholders of both Fiat and Chrysler stock will see their shares converted into an equal number of FCA shares, the Freep reports.
2015 Chrysler 200 sheds its frumpy past, V6 comes with AWD standard
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The 2015 200 is the automotive equivalent of an ugly duckling turning into a swan.
In 2004, Chrysler's fullsize offerings were the lamentable Concorde and 300M - a pair of bloated, plasticky barges that hadn't received significant attention since before the dawn of the new millennium. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Chrysler unveiled its new 300, which rode on the bones of a Mercedes-Benz E-Class and had the look of a Rolls-Royce with a thug-life upbringing. It was cool.
