For sale, Classic 1984 Woody Chrysler Lebaron Turbo Convertible (Town & Country).
Excellent condition - you would swear it looks like a new car! Was my daily driver all summer. Previous owners labor of love restoring this classic in top shape. New brakes (front and back), clean fluids, white-wall tires are 80%, new paint (true to original brown), everything is in excellent working condition. Odometer reads 63,000 miles (101,000 km) but read more info regarding mileage below. The Town & Countries were almost all station wagons, making this convertible quite rare, with just over 1,100 built in 1984. It was definitely the high-end variant of the K-car, with Mark Cross supplying the design of the “fine Corinthian” leather interior touted so famously by spokesman Ricardo Montalban. Exterior:

Originally a Canadian car, available for sale from Ogdensburg, NY. Classic car over 25 years old so should not need US or Canadian emissions test; check your state regs for plate registration. Pickup or shipping can be arranged from Ogdensburg NY 13669 or from Ottawa, ON Canada. Would like $500 down via Paypal within 3 days of winning bid; balance due before pickup/shipping. Will accept wire, e-transfer or certified check for balance. Will cooperate with shipping companies. Will sell overseas (full payment to be recognized before shipping). Please remember, even though this is a great representation of the classic Lebaron, you are bidding on a 29 year old Chrysler vehicle - be realistic with your expectations. On the other hand, I am confident that winning bidder will be happy with the car. It's a real head-turner getting positive comments from strangers and friends alike (and no, Jon Voight did not own this one either :-)

2014 Ram Power Wagon is bigger and badder than ever [w/video]
Wed, 09 Apr 2014
"The 2014 Ram Power Wagon fills a need for those who travel into extreme terrain for rescue or recreation." - Reid Bigland
More, more, more. That's the philosophy behind the latest Ram Power Wagon. The extra-brawny, Ram 2500-based pickup is back for 2014, and naturally, it's even more extreme than its predecessor.
Autoblog Minute: Marchionne seems prepared to lead FCA in takeover of GM
Fri, Sep 4 2015FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne wants industry consolidation but without any deal takers it seems as though he's ready to consider a hostile takeover. Autoblog's Chris McGraw reports on this edition of Autoblog Minute with commentary from Autoblog editor-in-chief Mike Austin. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] It's no secret that FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne wants industry consolidation but without any deal takers it seems as though he's ready to consider a hostile takeover. I'm Chris McGraw and this is your Autoblog Minute. Marchionne is tired of waiting for the industry to get on board with his consolidation plan. In an interview with Automotive News Marchionne was quoted as saying, "it would be unconscionable not to force a partner." And when pushed further about the nature of any potential takeover plan the FCA chief had this to say: "Not hostile. There are varying degrees of hugs. I can hug you nicely, I can hug you tightly, I can hug you like a bear, I can really hug you. Everything starts with physical contact. Then it can degrade, but it starts with physical contact." Metaphor aside, Marchionne suggests his numbers for a GM-FCA merger are irrefutable, pointing to potential global earnings of a 30 billion dollars. Without a merger deal on the horizon we have to wonder if an FCA takeover of GM even possible. For more we go to Autoblog's Mike Austin: [Mike Austin Interview] Marchionne says GM won't take his phone calls, and while he admits a merger with GM would be a hard road to haul it's one he's still determined to travel. We'll continue to monitor the story as it develops. For Autoblog, I'm Chris McGraw. Autoblog Minute is a short-form video news series reporting on all things automotive. Each segment offers a quick and clear picture of what's happening in the automotive industry from the perspective of Autoblog's expert editorial staff, auto executives, and industry professionals. Chrysler slows minivan production, hasn't built VW Routan this year
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Chrysler has slowed production of its Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans this week, Automotive News reports. The Windsor, Ontario plant will cut its three shifts from eight hours each to four hours each in an effort "to align production with market demand," a Chrysler spokesperson told AN. Chrysler also builds the closely related Routan minivan for Volkswagen at its Ontario facility, but has not built a single example thus far in 2013.
Sales of Chrysler's minivans fell 15 percent for the first two months of 2013, and a large part of that has to do with the 26-percent drop of the Grand Caravan alone (the T&C was only down by one percent). According to Automotive News data, as of March 1, Chrysler had an unsold inventory of 24,713 Town and Country models and 18,547 Grand Caravans - a 69- and 43-day supply, respectively.
"No sense running full speed now, then have a lot of vehicles sitting around a few months down the line," Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson told AN. Full production is expected to resume again on March 18.
