Richmond, Indiana, United States
Hello Up for sale is my grandmothers 1988 chrysler LeBaron... its been stored in a garage for several years driven 2 or 3 times a year, it runs and drives fine .. it has very low milage for this year a car only 71,000 the top has been replaced several yearss back and has no rips or tears.. 3 years ago my grandfather had the headgasket and waterpump replaced and timing belt.. i was the one who told him it should be replaced he ran it to town one day and it has a bit of white steam .... he cought it before any damage was done and was told it was just from it sitting .... the car is 27 years old but is one of the nicer lebarons you will find.., the car came from out west in arizona and has 0 rust underneath i have drove it myself a few times the only thing i know wrong is that passenger side 1/4 window does not roll up or down but the glass is in place .. may be a simple fix? and it squeeks a bit when going down the road when bumps are hit - i think its just from sitting and the rubber is dry, the Ac stil blows cold / and it has a newer battery
Car is sold as is! you can inspect it any time and drive it / to set up a viewing text or email.. 1-765-960-5928... just have to say this no scammers, and item is required to be picked up! I will not ship so dont ask, you can have it shipped at your expense and your provider that can pick it up, overall this is a nice car it would be great for a new teen driver or someone who just wants a nice older car, I prefer cash in person, however paypal can be used with a 3% fee Thanks for looking |

Fiat Chrysler quietly sends Pentastar logo out to pasture
Wed, 05 Nov 2014Logos come and go, and in the case of the famed Chrysler Pentastar, it's on its way back out. The well-known five-sided emblem, which sits prominently atop the massive Chrysler Technical Center complex in Auburn Hills, MI, is officially going to be phased out now that the company has united with Fiat and formed the new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
As a nearly 50-year-old icon, though, the fate of the Pentastar has been deeply intertwined with Chrysler's history. Hemmings has an excellent recap of that history, from its development in 1962 by a Chrysler ad agency through to its temporary discontinuation during the disastrous marriage between the American company and Daimler-Benz, and then on to its revival during the time the automaker regained its independence.
If you've been a fan of Chrysler and its brands over the years, you're going to want to give this piece a read. Head over and take a look.
Fiat buying rest of Chrysler in $4.35 billion deal, IPO avoided
Wed, 01 Jan 2014Chrysler will now become a wholly owned member of the Fiat family, as it's been announced that the 41.46-percent stake in the Auburn Hills, MI-based manufacturer owned by the United Auto Workers' VEBA trust fund will be sold to the Italian company. Concluding the agreement will mark the closure of a piecemeal purchase process that could have resulted in an initial public offering.
The total cost of the sale will see the VEBA healthcare trust receive $4.35 billion, $3.65 billion of which will come from Fiat. $1.75 billion of that will be cash, while an additional $1.9 billion will be part of a "special distribution." An additional $700 million will be paid over four separate installments according to reports from Automotive News Europe and USA Today, although the shares will belong to Fiat following the first payment. The deal was reportedly initially struck on Sunday (though it is just being announced today), and is being portrayed as particularly good news for Fiat and Chrysler, which have now prevented the remaining shares going to the stock market in a UAW-forced IPO.
"The unified ownership structure will now allow us to fully execute our vision of creating a global automaker that is truly unique in terms of mix of experience, perspective and know-how, a solid and open organization that will ensure all employees a challenging and rewarding environment," Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne said in a statement.
Chrysler UConnect wins AOL Autos Technology of the Year Award
Wed, 09 Jan 2013The first annual AOL Autos Technology of the Year Award has been won by Chrysler's upgraded UConnect system.
Over 35 entries were considered and narrowed down to six finalists in three categories: Connectivity, Telematics and Active Safety. The judges, which included editors from AOL Autos, Autoblog and Engadget, as well as a number of other auto and tech journalists and luminaries, chose UConnect over the MyFord Mobile app, Audi Connect with Google Maps, Cadillac CUE, Honda's LaneWatch technology and Nissan's Tire Pressure Alert and Refill System. Even readers who were polled on which technology should win chose UConnect.
AOL Autos Editor in Chief David Kiley remarked that Chrysler's UConnect deserved the first Technology of the Year Award not because of what it does, but for how UConnect performs every time it's used. Kiley went on to say UConnect works the way it's supposed to, fills a need and puts a smile on your face. By meeting those requirements, UConnect very much deserved AOL Auto's first Tech of the Year award.
