You are looking at an all original 1986 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible with the rare Mark Cross Edition interior. We bought this at an estate auction from the original owner. This is a one owner car for 27 years! This car could be the lowest mileage LeBaron out there. This was the top of the line with all of the bells and whistles including digital dash, and was very expensive for its time. Everything in the interior/exterior works and the A/C blows cold. As of today, it has a brand new battery. It has the very desirable non-turbo 2.2 liter 4 cylinder, which is just getting broken in. This car will pass inspection with no issues and I wouldn't hesitate driving it anywhere. It is ready to go. Just take a look at the picture of the clean engine. It is ready for car shows, the beach, parades, etc. It runs and drives perfect! It is as close to new as you can get. There are no dents or rust on this car. And the top and all chrome is in excellent condition. As you can see in the pictures, this car is in near excellent condition. It was obviously garaged and very well maintained. There are only minor imperfections that would expected with a 28 year old car. The only imperfections include: The switch for moving the drivers seat backwards is sporadic, but all other power seat functions work perfectly, 2 missing center caps, passenger side front hubcap/tire has curb rash, pin striping could use a refresh (cheap $6 at auto store), the passenger side rear small window is off the track and just needs to be manually put up and down, rear pistons in the trunk are weak and has a stick holding up trunk lid. Interior is near mint with only some very minor imperfections (pictures.) As you can see these are extremely minor, inexpensive and easy fixes that can be done (nearly all cosmetic). I am being extremely detailed and honest with the minor needs. Most people probably wouldn't list most of these. All of the parts are easily accessible. I have the owner's manual and previous title. Bid with confidence. Finish the easy restoration, o drive immediately as is. It is cheap to register due to antique status. You won't be disappointed. Check my feedback. Good luck!

Chrysler Recalling 870,000 SUVs For Brake Defect
Wed, Apr 2 2014Chrysler is recalling nearly 870,000 SUVs because corrosion may make the vehicles' brakes harder to use. Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from the 2011 through 2014 model years are involved. Chrysler says crimp joints in the brake boosters can corrode if they're exposed to water. If the water freezes, the boosters won't aid braking as they usually do. Chrysler began investigating after some customers said their brakes felt too firm when pressed down. The company knows of one accident, but no injuries, due to the defect. Dealers will install a shield to protect the boosters for free and replace boosters that aren't working properly. Chrysler has since changed the design to make the boosters more corrosion resistant. Chrysler will notify owners of the recall, which involves 867,795 vehicles. In 2004, Chrysler's fullsize offerings were the lamentable Concorde and 300M - a pair of bloated, plasticky barges that hadn't received significant attention since before the dawn of the new millennium. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Chrysler unveiled its new 300, which rode on the bones of a Mercedes-Benz E-Class and had the look of a Rolls-Royce with a thug-life upbringing. It was cool.
Fiat Chrysler target 850k sales in China by 2018
Sun, 11 May 2014Behind the vanguard of numerous Jeep models, two Chryslers, a smattering of Fiats and Alfa Romeos and local production through a joint venture with Guangzhou Automotive Group (GAG), Fiat Chrysler wants to increase sales in China more than six-fold by 2018. The group sold 130,000 cars in China in 2013, the aim for 2018 being 850,000 cars.
Ultimately it's expected that the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, Wrangler, Renegade, the coming Grand Wagoneer and a sub-Renegade-sized crossover will either be built in or exported to the People's Republic. The Chrysler Town & Country and 300 will join the export list in 2016 and 2018 respectively, according to a report in Automotive News.
With a number of those vehicles not in production or perhaps even envisaged yet, and others not due on the local market until 2018, it will be interesting to see how Fiat Chrysler plans to achieve the target in the specified timeframe. The joint venture with GAG builds two products now, the Dodge Dart-based Fiat Viaggio launched two years ago - supposedly designed just for China - and the just-launched Fiat Ottimo, a hatchback version of the Viaggio. Fiat projected 300,000 Viagio sales in its first two years, that number has been adjusted downward to 94,000 and there doesn't appear to be an analyst alive that sees a good future for Fiat in China's overrun mainstream market. Still, last year's 130,000 group sales in China is a huge jump from 2012 sales of 66,000 units, but less than half the 300,000 units it projected.
