HERE IS CHANCE TO OWN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CROSSFIRES THAT CHRYSLER EVER MADE. THE INTERIOR IS A 9.5 OUT OF A TEN, NEVER SMOKED IN AND LOOKS AS NEW. THE BODY AND PAINT IS ALSO A 9.5 OUT OF A TEN. PLEASE READ THIS. IT DOES HAVE A REBUILT TITLE. THE FRONT LOWER WRAP WAS DAMAGED WHEN IT RAN OVER A CURB. THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED. I HAVE A PICTURE OF THE DAMAGE ON REQUEST. WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL BODY SHOP AND HAD THE COMPLETE FRONT SECTION REMOVED AND HAD THEM CHECK EVERYTHING. I HAD THEM REPLACE BOTH FOG LIGHTS AND OTHER PLASTIC PARTS. THE FRAME IS FINE AND A COMPLETE FOUR WHEEL ALIGNMENT WAS DONE. THE CAR RUNS AND LOOKS LIKE NEW. THE TIRES HAVE ABOUT 95% OF THE TREAD LEFT. YOUR WELCOME TO HAVE ANYONE CHECK THIS CAR OUT. EVERYTHING WORKS. IT ALSO HAS HEATED SEATS. I ALSO HAD THE KEY ASSEMBLY REPLACED, IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE ON ALMOST ALL CROSSFIRES AROUND 60K MILES THE KEY ASSEMBLY FAILS AND LOCKS THE CAR COMPLETLY UP. THIS COST FROM $500.00 TO $1000.00 TO REPAIR.

Car Club USA: Chrysler Power Classic
Wed, Jul 22 2015Car Club USA heads to the Buckeye State for some high-octane drag racing at the Chrysler Power Classic. And for these amateur drag racers, nothing but Mopar muscle will do. "I would say Mopar is kind of a way of life," says Larry Augenstine. "Some people get addicted to lemonade, or beer, [or] drugs. Well, I'm Mopars." Larry drives a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda with a 426 Hemi motor that once belonged to local racing legend Ray Christian. He's joined at the track by Mark Ipsen of the Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock Association. Mark runs a 1979 AMC Concord with a modified 401 block V8 that he claims has dynoed at just under 1,000 horsepower. The biggest threat to any day on track is Mother Nature, who cast a threatening shadow over National Trail Raceway for much of the event. When the clouds and rain subsided, our cameras captured the grounds crew in action with blowers, torches, and a sticky compound that's sprayed the entire length of the track. Can Larry, Mark, and the rest of these Mopar fanatics make the most of the few runs they'll get? Stay tuned to find out. Each Car Club USA episode features a different car club or event from across the US, where passionate owner communities gather to share automotive experiences and embark on incredible adventures. North Carolina driver charged for flattening Trump sign
Thu, Mar 17 2016Police in Wilmington, NC are investigating a viral video that shows a local man driving off the road to run over a Trump for President campaign sign. Julien Schuessler of Wilmington posted a video to Facebook on March 15 showing him driving his white Jeep off the road in a reckless manner to smash a Trump sign. He captioned the video, "I love having a Jeep sometimes." The video immediately went viral, reaching nearly a million views and 25,000 shares in less than twenty-four hours. Any elation Schuessler may have felt at having his video go viral was short lived, though. According to WWAY, Wilmington Police were tipped off to the existence of the video on the afternoon of March 16. They were, understandably, less than pleased. In an official tweet, WPD stated that they were aware of the video and were investigating. A spokesperson for the WPD stated that Schuessler faces multiple charges for his little stunt, including hit and run, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane control. WWAY reached out to Schuessler for comment, but he has declined to respond. Chrysler's Hurricane engine detailed ahead of 2016 launch
Fri, 20 Sep 2013We've been hearing distant rumblings about Chrysler's new Hurricane engine for some time now, but details have been hard to come by. Now, Automotive News is adding some specifics to the scuttlebutt, citing Chrysler documents. According to the industry publication, the Hurricane will blow onto the scene in 2016, but it's not an all-new engine. Rather, it will be rooted in the company's existing 2.0-liter four-cylinder Tigershark powerplant (shown above), albeit with "many new technologies to achieve excellent fuel economy."
It's not clear what sort of technologies Chrysler is referring to, but the Hurricane is expected to continue to use an aluminum block, and the finished product is expected to generate even better figures than the existing 2.0-liter's 160 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque (as found in the Dodge Dart). Automotive News notes that the updated 2.4-liter Tigershark debuting in the entry-level 2014 Jeep Cherokee has its basis in the 2.0-liter lump, but unlike the smaller engine, it's been fitted with MultiAir2 electrohydraulic variable valve timing to realize 184 hp and 171 lb-ft and greater efficiency.
Perhaps the Hurricane will incorporate the latter in its bag of tricks? Either way, we're hoping for a more generous torque curve than the what's in the current 2.0-liter Tigershark, which is something of a slug in the Dart - even for a base economy compact.
