Stunning Red Chrysler Crossfire Roadster. 84208 miles. Black convertible top, tan with black leather power and heated seats.Power windows, steering, locks, mirrors and even power spoiler! 215 HP 3.2 Mercedes V6 engine with a 5 speed automatic transmission. Its really quite fast, and has a great exhaust note!
New Sumitomo performance tires and new brakes front and rear. Brand new Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with auxiliary jack. This car is gorgeous. The paint shines as new, a few minor nicks as expected with age and mileage. Interior is beautiful with no rips or tears or even wear spots in leather. Both chrome inside door pulls are tatty, as they are cheap plastic not befitting the rest of the car. The top works perfect and will gather a crowd when raised or lowered as it is a spectacle in its operation! This will be the coolest car on the block or in your work parking lot! My brother who lives in Boston, enlisted me to purchase this car for him and I have driven it on a regular basis until he was to come get it at end of August, but, he has lost his inside storage and this car simply can't sit outside during the Boston winter! I simply do not have the room for it either having too many of my own cars already. Much as I've enjoyed it, its got to go to a new home. Call me at (859) 481-5562 or e-mail jkirzinger@hotmail.com with any questions or to learn reserve price. Car is located in central Kentucky for now. Still plenty of good weather left to enjoy this beauty!! |

Ford tumbles to second worst in Consumer Reports reliability survey, list dominated by Japanese [w/video]
Mon, 29 Oct 2012It's no secret that MyFord Touch has had its share of problems since being introduced, but the most recent reliability survey from Consumer Reports shows just how much this infotainment system has affected Ford. Just two years ago, the automaker was in the top 10 for the institute's reliability rankings, but since then, it has tumbled to the second-lowest rung just above dead-last Jaguar. In addition to MyFord Touch, CR also attributes a handful of new products that have had issues right out of the gate.
Compiled from 1.2 million subscriber surveys, this year's auto reliability survey heavily favors Japanese automakers, with eight of the 10 spots hailing from Japan. Toyota brands grabbed the top three spots (Scion, Toyota and Lexus - in that order) with Mazda, Subaru, Honda and Acura filling the next four spots. The only non-Asian automaker cracking the top 10 was Audi at number eight.
Audi climbed a total of 18 spots from last year, and Cadillac and GMC round out this year's top gainers breaking into the top 15. Helping Cadillac's upward movement, the CTS Coupe was named the most reliable domestic car. Lincoln, Volvo and Chrysler join Ford on this year's biggest loser list.
Chrysler minivans under investigation for stalling after fuel refill
Wed, 10 Sep 2014According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, at least one man has reported that his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan stalled unexpectedly on the highway shortly after being refueled. The unidentified man who contacted NHTSA regarding the issue cited as many as eight similar instances reported by other drivers.
NHTSA has announced that it will launch an inquiry into this issue, which could affect as many as 160,000 minivans from Dodge and Chrysler that were sold in 2007 (or more, if a problem is found that extends to additional models years, we'd assume). As of yet, there's no formal investigation, let alone a recall, on these vans, as the agency is merely determining if further action is needed.
Two months ago, Chrysler recalled nearly 700,000 vehicles, the majority of which were minivans, from the 2008-2010 model years to replace ignition switches after an investigation found that their weak springs and detent positions could fool a driver into thinking the car was in the "Run" position, when it's actually in the "Accessory" position.
Chrysler will debut a fully electric Pacifica at CES
Sun, Dec 11 2016Fiat Chrysler Automotive will debut a fully electric version of its Pacifica minivan at CES, according to a report from Bloomberg citing "people familiar with the plans." There's already a plug-in hybrid Pacifica model with a battery large enough to allow for an all-electric range of 30 miles. It's unclear if it's this electric version of FCA's minivan that will be the basis of the self-driving vehicle the automaker will provide to Google. Bloomberg's report also suggests that FCA has an electric vehicle in the works for the Maserati brand. This Tesla-fighting vehicle has been rumored for some time, with previous reports pointing for a debut in 2020. In other words, we don't expect to see an electric Maserati at CES, but we'd love to be surprised. And we'll know soon enough – CES starts in less than month. Stay tuned.
