Custom chrysler 300c srt8. Car runs and drives amazing about 425hp. I bought the car 2 years ago and meticlously took it apart and block sanded and repainted it.  I am a custom painter who has been painting for many years in a high end body shop.  Car was sprayed with PPG Envirobase and dcu 2021 clear coat. the top color is sterling silver from there viberance line and the black is a masaratti black that has a slight metalic sparkle, it then has a house of kolor, blood red pinstripe to break it up. all the jambs are also 2 toned and striped.  This was my display car for the last couple years and has not been driven very much and always garaged and stored for the winter.  The paint job also includes the mural on the rear smoothed decklid. its of a mobster shooting a gun, it always turns heads and is a great complement to the car.  All of the under hood has also been airbrushed and clear coated, with custom made engine covers. The stock brembo brakes have been striped and painted house of kolor, blood red with white srt8 and brembo logos.  This car has many 1 off parts, you will never pull up to a car that is even close to it.  Every time you drive around people are pointing and there jaws drop.  The engine has a modified stainless steel cold air intake and box. and pypes m80 exhuast. The headlights have been retrofit with aac led halos that are blue and wireless, the housings have also been color matched, the low beams, high beams, and fogs are hids. The door sills have custom made lighted kick plates that are marbelized and light up blue.  The arm rest has a embroried leather cover. the center council has also been marbelized. 35% tint , dynamat complete car for a quite ride, new battery,  billet pink thing replaced, custom made lighted door sills, and custom grill.  very well maintained with brad penn gt1 oil, all fluids changed..ect
Warrenty covering all mechanical electrical and ac parts with 0 detectible until 186000 miles. through Warranty Direct. i paid $1800 for it. good piece of mind.

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

While past episodes featured cars from 1980s movies and tv shows, the latest video shows off the 1965 Chrysler Imperial affectionately known as Black Beauty We saw the Imperial for the first time at the 2009 Comic-Con; the car actually used in the 2011 action comedy The Green Hornet.
Of the 30 cars made for the movie, host Chris Rutkowski says that Sony only preserved two, and if you're a collector of movie cars, this one is currently being sold for $165,000. Scroll down to watch as Rutkowski takes Black Beauty for a spin through Beverly Hills, CA with its assortment of exposed weapons including the hood-mounted machine guns, numerous missiles and flame thrower.

Ford and Chrysler reducing summer plant shutdowns

Wed, 22 May 2013

Most domestic automaker assembly plants traditionally take a couple of weeks off during the summer. The shutdowns give each plant time for much needed repairs and maintenance, and in some cases, help better align production with demand. Not this year, though, as demand for many models is outstripping what Ford, Chrysler and General Motors plants can produce.
Ford has announced that it will shorten its annual summer shutdown for most North American plants from two weeks to one. The shorter shutdown will increase the carmaker's annual North American production by 40,000 units on top of the 200,000 extra units that it was already planning to produce this year versus last. Automotive News reports that Ford produced 2.8 million vehicles on this continent in 2012, and that output this year has already increased 13 percent through April.
Chrysler, meanwhile, is also operating at full tilt and plans to run some plants through the summer with no shutdown at all. Those not getting a break include Jefferson North where the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango are assembled, Toledo North that will assemble the new Cherokee, and Conner Avenue, home of SRT Viper production. Other assembly plants will be down for a single week, while all of Chrysler's engine and transmission plants except one in Indiana will continue operating with no shutdown this summer.

Fiat Chrysler to get $105M fine from NHTSA for recall woes

Sun, Jul 26 2015

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is about to send a powerful message to automakers doing business in the United States, assuming reports of an upcoming $105 million fine against Fiat Chrysler Automobiles comes to fruition. In addition to the record-setting monetary fine, according to The Wall Street Journal, FCA will have to accept an independent auditor that will monitor the company's recall and safety processes and will be forced to buy back certain recalled vehicles. In other cases, such as with Jeep Grand Cherokee and Liberty models with gas tanks that could potentially catch fire in certain types of accidents, FCA will offer financial encouragement for owners to get their recall work done or to trade those older vehicles in on new cars, according to the report. FCA could reportedly reduce its fines if it meets certain conditions, though those remain unclear at this time. These actions against FCA are being taken after NHTSA began a probe into the automaker over almost two dozen separate instances where the government claims FCA failed to follow proper procedures for recalls and safety defects. Included in those safety lapses are more than 11 million vehicles currently in customer hands. These penalties and fines are separate from the investigation over security problems with Chrysler's Uconnect system that allowed hackers to obtain remote access into key vehicle systems in 1.4 million vehicles.
