Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, United States
CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Up for sale is a beautiful, low mileage, one owner, garage kept and freshly professionally detailed 2005 Chrysler 300C Hemi with 81,346 miles on it. This car has been meticulously cared for and serviced. Please take the time to look over all 24 photos that I have here on this auction. I know the entire history of this car since it is my father's car. It is a one owner, older adult owned car that has been pampered and well cared for. It has been only serviced every 3000 miles with Synthetic 5W-20 oil and premium oil filters, and seen very limited use in any bad weather. The tires are in excellent condition with very little wear and about 8000 miles on them. Front end was aligned and tie rod ends replaced when the tires were installed. The front brake pads and rotors were also replaced at that time. This car is very nicely optioned and equipped. The addition of a Bentley grille adds to the look of the front end. Chrome mirrors and chrome 18" factory wheels compliment the look. Paint is shiny and clean, freshly buffed and waxed. There are some stone chips on the painted front end of the car due to mostly highway driving. There is some scratches along the lower passenger side rocker and the lower front valance of the front end. These cars do sit low. I am pointing this out to be completely honest and factual in the description of the car. This car has NEVER been in any accident of any kind. All body panels and paint is original. The interior is in superb condition. NON-SMOKER. Again the interior has just been completely professionally detailed. Carpet, mats, seats are spotlessly clean. Everything in the car works exactly as it should. This 300C is equipped with the premium Boston Acoustics sound system with 6-Disc changer and surround speaker sound system. The steering wheel is equipped with stereo and complete information screen buttons, as well as cruise control settings. Dual power heated leather seats. Memory driver 1 and driver 2 settings. Adjustable floor pedals and power telescopic in and out and up and down steering wheel. Power windows, mirrors, locks. Power sunroof. Dual climate control settings for driver and passenger. Parking back up assist with collision monitor back up sensors. The motor has been upgraded with a K&N air filter and intake system to benefit the car with increased MPG and a few extra horsepower. Definitely a noticeable difference in fuel economy. Everything else in the drivetrain is stock. A new Mopar battery was recently installed at the Chrysler dealer as well as an ECM update and reflash so everything is current and up to date with the computer and electronics. This car is in turn key and drive anywhere and enjoy immediately today condition. Again it's detailed, clean and shiny and comes with a half tank of gas. I have both original key fobs and owners manual and books for the car. This car needs absolutely nothing. I have a clean Pennsylvania title in hand for this car in my father's name. It shows 10 miles on the title when he purchased it on 12/27/2004. This car has a current NADA retail value of $12,200. I have it priced very realistically with a buy it now price of $10,950. That is a $1250 savings off of retail price. I would be happy to show this car in person to any prospective buyer by appointment to answer any questions that you may have and to take the car for a test drive.
Please check my 100% positive feedback and buy with confidence. Feel free to ask any and all questions on this Chrysler. I have accurately and honestly described this car to the best of my knowledge. Again this car has been well cared for and regularly serviced. It is in turn key and drive anywhere and enjoy immediately condition. This car is sold in AS-IS condition with no actual expressed or implied warranty or guarantee of any kind. The day you buy the car it becomes your car. There is no refunds or rebates. Again if any potential buyer has any questions as to the integrity or condition of this beautiful car then I encourage and welcome the opportunity to show this car in person by appointment before the auction ends to answer those questions for you. Accepted forms of payment are as follows: Funds in hand and a local pickup of the car is the easiest way to complete the transaction. A wire transfer or bank cashier's check is also acceptable however the car will not be released until the check completely clears the bank account. This can take a few days. A wire transfer can usually clear a bank within one business day. The title will be and must be properly processed into the new owners name. This is easily done by the local Pennsylvania notary. I am looking to complete an honest, easy and simple sale here. Again check my feedback. Again to be clear I welcome and encourage the opportunity to show this car in person by appointment to answer any questions for any prospective buyers. My contact # is at the top and bottom of this ad to make it very easy to reach me. So lastly any questions please don't hesitate to CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Thanks and good luck ! |

Chrysler 200 configurator already online
Wed, 15 Jan 2014A preliminary configurator for the 2015 Chrysler 200 is already up and greeting Internet visitors. The totally re-envisioned sedan that we got to know in our Deep Dive starts with an LX base trim for $22,695, which comes out to an MSRP of $21,700 plus $995 for destination. That number will get you entry to a party that comes with keyless entry, ambient LED lighting inside, a five-inch Uconnect touschcreen system with Bluetooth, a six-speaker stereo, eight-way power driver's seat, safety features like brake assist and an electronic parking brake and eighteen-inch wheels on all-season tires.
The features list isn't yet broken down by model, but including destination, the other three trims retail for $24,250 for the Limited, $25,990 for the S and $26,990 for the C. All-wheel drive adds $4,200 on the S and the C.
You can build an LX pretty quickly because there aren't many options. There are two interior choices, black or black/linen, five exterior color options, and just two choices after that: you can opt for the $495 five-inch Uconnect system that adds features like voice command and a rearview mirror with a microphone, and an engine block heater for $95.
Are old airbags killers?
Sat, Jul 25 2015Takata airbags may not be the only ones with some very serious problems. A new report from TheDetroitBureau.com claims that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened its second investigation into bad airbag inflators, and this time, they aren't from Takata. The focus of this latest case is on the airbag inflators in some 500,000 older Chrysler Town and Country minivans and Kia Optima sedans, all of which come from ARC Automotive. While the Takata case looks at problems stemming from the engineering and production process, the ARC investigation focuses on the age of the inflators. As TDB explains, airbag inflators are essentially what the military refers to as shaped charges, sort of like Claymores (for fans of the Call of Duty series). In combat, they blow up in a specific direction, protecting those behind the explosion, although in the case of airbags, the explosion "[creates] a precise rush of hot gases" that inflate the bags. NHTSA's worry is that with the increased average age of today's vehicles, years and years of being bounced, jolted, and shaken about and exposed to often-radical temperature changes have altered the nature of the explosives in these vehicles, causing too big of an explosion. "It may be a reasonable assumption that as these things age they deteriorate." – Analyst George Peterson "It may be a reasonable assumption that as these things age they deteriorate," analyst George Peterson told TheDetroitBureau.com. NHTSA boss Mark Rosekind backed up aging angle. "Cars are lasting on the road a lot longer than ever before," Rosekind told TDB, adding that seals could start breaking down. "Is aging now an issue? That's part of the investigation going on." NHTSA has only identified two "incidents" so far, although according to Center for Auto Safety Director Clarence Ditlow, there's genuine concern that there could be additional unidentified cases. "Could we have missed more? That could be the case," Ditlow told TDB, citing the misidentified deaths in the Takata investigation. Ditlow was quick to point out that, even in older vehicles, airbags are much more likely to protect than harm. "No one is saying you should disable your airbags," the safety advocate told TDB. "You're far more likely to be helped than hurt by one if they go off." At least one automaker, meanwhile, has already been advised of the investigation by NHTSA and is checking its airbags.
Question Of The Day: Most overlooked heroic engine?
Wed, Dec 9 2015All of us know that the small-block Chevrolet V8 was a masterpiece of engineering that made the high-performance overhead-valve V8 affordable to the masses, and that the Mercedes-Benz OM617 diesel is basically immortal, and that the Toyota R engine defined what it means for a vehicle to be considered Warlord Grade. The AMC straight-six. The Model T engine. The Volvo Redblock. Those engines get the respect they deserve. But what about the engines that we don't think much about, the ones that worked hard in their millions and somehow missed attaining legend status? The list of engines beloved by their aficionados but not thought of often by the rest of us goes on and on: the Renault Ventoux, Mitsubishi 4G1, MeMZ-968, and so on. But my vote goes to the Chrysler flathead straight-six. This engine was produced starting in 1929 and was still being made for stationary industrial use in the early 1970s. It powered just about every type of Chrysler vehicle made for decades, hauled supplies for all the major Allied armies in World War II, and was even developed into a five-bank, 30-cylinder tank engine. It was simple and reliable and outlived most of its competition, and you rarely hear much about it these days. What's your choice?
