1968 Chrysler 300 with 98,681 original miles. Originally a Tennessee vehicle, I purchased this vehicle from Classic Auto Showplace out of Troy Michigan. My mechanic has serviced the vehicle since purchase and commented that the vehicle's drive ability is among the best he has seen for a vehicle this age. This car is solid and boasts a polar white exterior on black vinyl interior. The car is a strong daily driver, a better weekend driver, or a perfect candidate for a full restoration should you choose. This car is a looker both inside and out. The exterior of the vehicle is enhanced by chrome Cragar wheels, and a "cross-hair" motif grille with hidden headlights (function as intended.) The inside is complimented by front bucket seats, power windows, tinted glass, power locks, tilt wheel, power trunk (needs to be rewired), and power antenna (not operational, but easy and available fix.)

Very few of these vehicles exist in this condition. This vehicle was purchased from an indoor showroom and has remained garage kept and covered since purchase. I have added more photos for your viewing. I drove the vehicle today as it was only lightly showering. As a result, the odometer now reads 6 added miles from the original listing (98,687.) Please also note the more detailed photos of the rain channels above the door jam. They show some surface rust on both sides of the vehicle, but by no means are they rusted through. Similarly, you can now see in the photos where the previous owner attempted some retouch to the outside edges of the rear window well near the chrome trim. I attempted to photograph a small ding in the trunk lid. I hope that it is visible in the photos. A similar small ding exists in the engine hood. I believe this is an older repaint, but I don't have any specific knowledge regarding this matter. A member requested photos of the trunk, engine bay, and fender tag. They have been provided. Please use your zoom to enlarge the photo of the fender tag in order to read it. Photos of the interior are now also provided. Everything in the interior is original to my knowledge.

Big Black Friday discounts key to Chrysler 200 sales success

A lot of people go shopping for deals on TVs or computers around the holiday season, but it looks like some folks are finding some fantastic deals on cars too. Take the Chrysler 200 for example. The new sedan had a great November in terms of sales, and by Chrysler's numbers, it delivered 14,317 of them for the month, a 155 percent increase from the same month last year. It even beat the November 2013 sales of the old 200 and Dodge Avenger combined. However, a report from Daily Kanban based on TrueCar data suggests that the good month came at least in part from steep incentives. Based on 20,156 sales of the 200 from TrueCar's database, average transaction prices were about $2,500 to $4,000 under MSRP for all but the base LX front-wheel drive model. That one actually went for about $68 above the typical base price. Going by these numbers, most people could have bought nearly any trim cheaper than the listed price of the one above it. For example, the top C AWD averaged $27,423, less money than the stated MSRP of the lower-spec S AWD. TrueCar's website also shows 200 pricing dipping in the latter part of November and into early December. There's no doubt that the 200 had a stellar month for November. But these figures suggest that it might have come partially because buyers found stacks of money on 200 hoods, while out doing some holiday shopping. Related Video:

Ward's Automotive Ten Best Engines of 2014 dominated by diesels, turbos

With the Car and Driver Ten Best decided, the North American Car and Truck of the Year finalists announced and Cadillac, Ram and Subaru chalking up wins with Motor Trend, it's fair to say that the automotive awards season is in full swing. The next set of trophies to be handed out will be from Ward's Automotive, which has announced the winners of its 2014 10 Best Engines.
The latest contest was marked by the widespread emergence of diesel power and the continued success of turbocharged engines. There was even an electric motor on this year's list. In fact, only three of the ten winners were naturally aspirated and only two winners returned from last year.
"We weren't looking to throw the bums out, as they might say about an election. We were just really impressed with the flood of new powertrains," said Ward's Automotive Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter. Those new powertrains include the 83-kilowatt electric motor from the Fiat 500e, the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost three-cylinder from the Ford Fiesta and the 2.0-liter turbodiesel from the Chevrolet Cruze.

Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.
