Exterior Color in Tungsten Metallic

The better engine... the 2.4L DOHC 16
valve I4 Dual VVT  is truly a remarkable engine because it is extremely
quick with 173 horsepower, low on maintenance with a 4 cylinder engine
and great on gas mileage at 20 combined and 29 Mpg's on the highway
according to fueleconomy.gov. Who needs the additional expenses and
upkeep of a 6 cylinder engine.

Power Convertible Top

The nice thing about the "New" 200s is that the
Convertible top is Canvas or Cloth not vinyl like the older Sebring's.
The Canvas top looks better, stays cleaner and last longer than vinyl,
so when comparing to other convertible make sure you are getting a Canvas top.

Tinted windows and pinstripe

Rides and drives great with the new
tires and no road noise, rattles or shakes, it is extremely tight.

All the electrical equipment works including the automatic
power convertible top that is one touch and also takes down all 4 power
windows and goes right into the trunk area for a clean covered look. No
need for a cumbersome boot to take on and off!

This 200 must have been "Garage"
kept and never smoked in based on its clean and odor free interior and
its glistening finish in Tungsten Metallic.

We had the vehicle safety
inspected and the oil changed and we found out the front and rear
brakes are new and the New Capitol Sport tires have less than 50 miles on them!

Overall this is one of
the nicest Convertible I have ever driven. I see them online and the
Limited's can go for up to $30,000!!!! Comparable Touring's can be in
the $15-$18,000 price range plus if you buy from a "Dealer" there might
be extra hidden fees up to $1000 added to the price of the final
purchase. These are called "Dealer" fees and we don't have them.

The interior is "Pristine" including the seats, carpets, headliner and all instrumentation.

Chrysler killing off the 200 Convertible, Dodge Avenger

When Chrysler rolled out the first-generation 200 to replace the Sebring range in 2010, it included replacements for both the sedan and the convertible. The Sebring Coupe, however, was left out of the mix. And now that the second-generation Chrysler 200 is descending upon us, Auburn Hills is paring things down even further. But this time, it's the convertible that reportedly isn't making the cut. Shame, too, since the rendering above shows what could have been quite an attractive droptop.
As our compatriots at Edmunds point out, sales of the convertible model accounted for less than five percent of overall Chrysler 200 sales, and at those numbers, the considerable cost of engineering a new drop-top couldn't be justified. With the Toyota Camry Solara and Volkswagen Eos also gone from the market (well, the VW isn't gone quite yet), the discontinuation of the Chrysler 200 Convertible leaves the affordable convertible segment largely to the sportier likes of the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro and smaller European offerings like the Mini Cooper and VW Beetle.
The Chrysler 200 Convertible isn't the only derivative being left behind with the new model: so too is the Dodge Avenger. That will leave a glaring hole in the Dodge lineup, with nothing to bridge the gap between the compact Dart and the larger Charger. Whether the Dodge brand has any plans to replace the Avenger with another model, not to be based on the 200, remains to be seen.

Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with

Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.

It became the flame that started the fire of belief in the next life of Chrysler.
I just sold a car. Nothing new. Millions do it every day. But my car was a 1995 Dodge Viper, so maybe it was a bit more unique since just 12,000 were built. And like others selling a car that's been a part of the family for close to 20 years, this was a confluence of emotions for me. I was sad to see it go, but happy to have the cash and one less big, shiny, under-utilized object in my life.
