2006 Chrysler 300 Base Sedan 4-door 2.7l on 2040-cars
Woodbridge, Virginia, United States
The body and transmission of the car are in great condition. I was traveling to another state and the motor ended up going. Had it towed to a mechanic and he said it needed a new engine. I ended up buying a new truck instead of getting an engine. I was looking around ebay and found a bunch of motors and even thought I would get a 5.7 liter to upgrade but I want a boat and my wife wants the car gone. I drove it up until Feb 12th and it ran fine up to that point. Car is lowered 2" with eibach pro dampner and springs. It has 20 in viper rims with cross drilled rotors. It was never a fast car but looked fast! There is no rust on it body in good shape. The trunk could be resprayed I was shaving the emblem and used a little to much clear and there are runs but a sand and respray it would look good again. Blue book with good engine is $8200 I just want to get my boat and go fishing so high bid wins. I bought this car new from the dealership I have title in hand. You will need a trailer in order to move it but you can rent one from uhaul for $50!!
On Mar-20-14 at 16:10:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to add in that it also needs new tailpipes. I had the Blastin Bob's on it and both tail pipes rusted and broke at the Y you can get new ones for like $300. Or just change it back to a single exhaust. |

2013.5 Chrysler 200 S Special Edition is a Sebring swan song
Wed, 27 Mar 2013
The world is set to get an all-new Chrysler 200 next year, thereby finally putting the bones of the long-serving Sebring to rest. To tide us all over until then, the automaker has released the 2013.5 200 S Special Edition. As a collaboration between Chrysler and the Imported from Detroit clothing line, the sedan features plenty of aesthetic tweaks to give it a bit more attitude. Those include tinted headlamp and taillamp housings, body-color door sills and 18-inch gloss black wheels. There's also a revised front fascia with a black mesh grille, while the tail end gets a decklid spoiler and a revised valance.
Indoors, the seats are clad in black, water-resistant fabric courtesy of Carhartt. Expect to see the 2013.5 200 S Special Edition in dealers soon with a price tag of $28,870. While there are plenty of questions to be asked here, one is more nagging than the others. Why bother buying the special edition when an all-new model is mere months away? It's an age-old question, but it still bears asking. Check out the full press release below for more information.
Dodge shows can-do attitude with grand Can'avan sculpture
Fri, 01 Nov 2013There are lots of ways to celebrate an important birthday, and all of them are well deserved. You can throw a big party, buy yourself something nice, or - if you're the altruistic type - do something for others in need. The latter is how Chrysler has opted to mark the 30th anniversary of its Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.
Together with hunger-advocacy organization Canstruction, the Chrysler Foundation has built a full-scale replica of the Grand Caravan out of 30,000 food cans in the square at the corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto, a ways down the highway from where the real vans are built in Windsor. The sculpture was built over the course of 10 hours by 30 volunteers and was displayed earlier this week.
Now the installation is being taken down, and the cans of food are being donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, which will assemble them into 2,000 food baskets to be distributed to those in need through its network of 200 food banks across the Canadian metropolis. Check out a neat time-lapse video of the build and the press release below.
Ferrari to be spun off from Fiat Chrysler
Wed, 29 Oct 2014The recently merged Fiat Chrysler Automobiles empire has ambitious plans for growth, and it's going to need some big bucks in its coffers in order to enact them. Part of that cash injection is coming from the floating of its IPO on the New York Stock Exchange, but now FCA has announced a further capital campaign to be based on the enormous asset that is Ferrari.
FCA's board of directors has just approved the separation of Ferrari from the rest of the group as a separate entity. Once that separation is complete, Ferrari will put 10 percent of its shares on the stock market "in the United States and possibly a European exchange" as well.
This isn't the first time that the idea of a Ferrari IPO has been raised. Sergio Marchionne, chief executive of Chrysler, Fiat and Ferrari (pictured above), first raised the idea four years ago. Former Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo nixed the idea, but now that he's been discharged, it appears there's nothing to get in the way of Marchionne's desires.
