PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD. THIS IS A RE-LIST. 2000 Chevrolet Tracker.Very dependable and runs great! CLEAN CAR FAX.We are selling because we bought a larger vehicle. It has a modified Blue Ox base plate so it can be towed behind a motorhome (with your tow bar). The BASE PLATE has been checked and painted and WILL STAY WITH THE CAR! It tows GREAT. The body has some rust, rocker panels getting bad, one small dent (rr door), scratches,etc.The rear brake lines,hoses,shoes,drums,hardware,etc. are almost new as are the front tires. Front brakes are very good. The spark plugs were replaced a few months ago. It will pass NYS inspection. It averages 22 mpg around town. The A/C compressor was recently replaced and it, as well as the heater work as they should. The 4WD and the overdrive transmission work with no issues. The parking brake works excellent.The rr tire is getting low but the spare is like NEW. It goes great in the snow AND on the beach!!! Please view the photos and ask questions. Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally

Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:

LG Chem's troubled Chevy Volt battery plant hiring once again

The Michigan battery plant known for paying its workers to do nothing has turned things around and is now hiring more workers, specifically to do something. South Korea-based LG Chem, which runs the factory to supply the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle with its lithium-ion batteries, held a job fair recently to bring on 40 new employees in order to meet higher battery demand, according to WZZM, the ABC affiliate for Grand Rapids, MI. The LG Chem factory is in Holland, MI, about 30 miles west of Grand Rapids, and it made its first batteries last year. Prior to that, though, the factory gained notoriety after a US Department of Energy (DOE) probe found that workers there were getting paid to do, well, nothing. That's because demand for the battery packs was so low that it cost less for the plant to sit idle. The DOE was conducting the probe because of its financial grant to LG Chem. But that was then and today is today. LG Chem is looking to ramp up production in advance of the second-generation Volt. That 2016 model-year version is said to have a longer all-electric range and better performance and will ride on a new chassis, but few official details have surfaced. We will know more when we get our first look at the car at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
