2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Police PPV package.
I am selling this vehicle due to not having a use for it anymore. It has absolutely nothing wrong with it. It runs flawlessly, no mechanical or electrical issues, runs and drives like it should. This Tahoe has the 5.3L V8 and is a strong powerful truck. It currently has 83450 miles on the odometer but this number will slightly increase.
Truck has many options on it - power door locks, power seats, power windows, tinted windows, cd player, low mileage, cloth front seats, vinyl rear seats, spotlight on the driver's side, and lots lots more. Added options include - heavy duty catch-all rubber floor mats and a factory full sized center console.
There are no holes on the dash, floor, interior panels, or rooftop from police equipment. There is a small antenna on the top that is not being used. The antenna connection is ran to the center console, if you desire to install a scanner or radio.
The best feature about the Tahoe is that is has never been commissioned with any agency or used in a fleet program. It was purchased by a firefighter for civilian use, and he traded it in at the dealership for a new truck. I bought it from the dealership for civilian use to carry my K9 off-duty for training. Since this vehicle has been civilian owned since new, it comes with a life time power train warranty.
There are LED lightbars installed. All lights are controlled by a Whelen CenCom lightbar controller, An extra CenCom controller will be included (approx. a $550 value.) Proper credentials must be seen prior to purchase or the LED lights and controller will be removed professionally. I will not sell the LED lights separately or with the Tahoe if you do not have proper credentials.
I do have a lien on this vehicle with my credit union. I will require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of end of auction. The remaining balance will be due within 7 days unless an agreement is made otherwise.
Please do not bid or make offers if you do not have the funds readily available. I do not have the means to owner finance or lease and I am not currently interested in trades at this time.
Thanks for looking and having interest in my Tahoe. I can send more pictures and video if needed. If you have any more questions, please contact me. I will respond accordingly.

1983 Motorweek showdown pits Porsche 928S vs. Chevy Camaro Z28
Mon, Jan 12 2015Last month, Motor Trend threw the Camaro Z/28 and Porsche 911 GT3 into the bear pit and let them fight it out. Way back in 1983, MotorWeek had the same idea, comparing the Camaro Z/28 to the Porsche 928S. At the time, the Camaro was America's best selling sports coupe, the 928S was Porsche's top-of-the-line model that also had the highest top speed of any car sold here. And the price differential was even more stark then: $13,600 for the Camaro, $45,000 for the Porsche. That put the Z/28's cast-iron, 5.0-liter V8 with 190 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque against the all-aluminum 4.7-liter V8 with 234 hp and 263 lb-ft in the 928S. Even with that and the Camaro being 14 inches longer than the Porsche, the American was a surprising 40 pounds lighter than the German. The show took them to Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia to see how close a relative performance bargain could hang with a the German GT. Both had five-speed manual transmissions, but the high-speed corners and tight sections of Summit Point would test other handling variables, including the "bone-rattling" Camaro's solid rear axle and disc and drum brake setup vis-a-vis the four-wheel disc brakes and independent suspension on the "firm-but-smooth" Porsche. Paradoxically, the larger disparity 22 years ago resulted in a closer result. Check out the video to see how the Summit was won. Next Chevy Volt will be 2016 model and ride on new chassis
Fri, Mar 7 2014What do we know about the 2016 Chevy Volt? Well, for now, all we can do is try to put the puzzle together without the box. Thankfully, a new batch of pieces has arrived from a new report in Edmunds, which says that the 2016 model year will introduce the second generation of a car that hasn't been dramatically updated since it went on sale in 2010. The new Volt is getting an "evolutionary styling change" and will ride on a new front-drive platform that has been developed by General Motors. GM's Kevin Kelly told AutoblogGreen that he has "no comment on future products," but he did acknowledge that Chevrolet is working on a second-generation Volt, "but I can't say anything about timing." Everybody already knew that a next-gen Volt is coming, so that's not a surprise. What we don't know is any real concrete information on the car itself. The few tidbits of information we do have help define the outlines of the next version of Chevy's halo car, but they're not confirmed yet. For the record, they range from the eye-raising (a $10,000 price drop) to the logical (20 percent more electric range). We can't see the whole picture yet, but the pieces do point to the 2016 Volt, which would be released next year sometime, being a much bigger deal than the last update, when the Volt's range was increased by three electric miles thanks to a battery capacity increase of 16 kWh to 16.5.
