2004 Chevrolet Tahoe for sale. Z71 package, leather seats, moon roof, Bose speakers, rear captains chairs, roof rack, tow package, etc. Truck runs great and looks good all around. It has the 5.3 V8 that runs very strong and the 4wd works flawlessly. It will not leave you stuck in the snow! No engine or warning lights on the dash. New tires (Bridgestone Dueler’s) were put on it this past January. Everything looks and works as it should. Mechanically the truck is very solid and drives great. Aesthetically minor body rust is the only issue, as shown in the pictures. There is minor rust accumulating on the front and rear bumpers, as well as on other body parts, as shown in pictures. The rusting is very minor and the body is still in very solid shape. The drivers front door hinge is loose but it does not create an issue, the door opens, closes, and operates as it should. The heated seats do not work and the part of the gauge cluster that shows what gear you've selected does not light up, but the driver information center below it works perfectly. This truck was never smoked in and is clean on the inside. Overall it is a good looking and very comfortable Tahoe that is in mechanically great condition, and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. The only reason I am selling is because I need something easier on gas. 126,000 miles. The vehicle is located in Oswego, NY. Do not hesitate to contact for further information. GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.
