I very seldom use the word ‘mint’ but it fits very nicely here! Rarely do you find an unmolested Chevrolet Tahoe LS in a very rare original color with a slim chance of finding another one like it. Up for auction is a stunning 1999 Tahoe LS with slightly over 100k original miles. The vehicle has never seen any inclement weather. Always garaged since day one and never left outside overnight; it shows. I am selling this Tahoe for a friend of mine who has meticulously maintained it to the highest standards. The truck comes equipped with the following options: 5.7 Vortec V8 engine, 2010 Tahoe LTZ 18” wheels with Bridgestone tires, barn doors, great heat and cold A/C, rear A/C, power locks, power windows, 2 keypads-2 keys, 1 spare key, silencer anti-theft installed with extra key, updated JVC stereo CD/HD radio/ipod/USB port, Rockford fosgate speakers, original floor mats throughout covered by Huskyliner mats for the life of the truck, original GM rear cargo liner, original privacy cargo area shade. '84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia
Fri, Jan 16 2015These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
